Islam’s Goal To Conquer The World

Why hasn’t President Obama taken Iran more seriously? If I can do the research and find what Iran’s goals are why can’t our government? Are we going to let them develop nuclear weapons of mass destruction?

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad President of Iran is a Shiite Islam and believes the twelfth Imam, Mahdi (rightly guided one) will return as a military commander who will lead the Islamic armies and conquer the world. The world will then end up as believers in Islam and anyone who doesn’t must die. The Mahdi is a direct descendant of Mohammed.

President Ahmadinejad has no fear of attacking Israel or the United States. A war with Israel could reveal his Mahdi and start the conquest of the world. It is evident that Iran is building nuclear weapons and long range missiles with the intent to hit Israel and later, possibly by ship, the U.S. Ahmadinejad calls the U.S. the Great Satan and Israel Little Satan and they are major obstacles. He believes Iran is destined to begin the war that allows the Mahdi to finish by controlling the world.

There are some who believe Israel will be involved in three wars now and in the future. The first and continuing is with Iran, backing Hezbollah and Hamas. Those of us who believe the Bible is 100% accurate tell us that another war with Persia (Iran) and Russia and a huge land army will invade Israel. It tells us that Israel will survive because God will intervene.

Before I go further it is so very important that we believe the Bible. We read in Ezekiel 36:24 & 28 the following: “For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.” “You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.” This prophecy was executed in 1948 when Israel became a nation. This is a contradiction to the Koran that believes God gave the covenant land to the Palestinians.

For those who have been following the ships from Turkey that tried to break the blockade of Gaza this could be the beginning of hostilities between Israel and Hamas (Palestine). Ezekiel 29:9 – 12 tells that Egypt attacks Israel. Joel 3:19 – “But Egypt will be desolate, Edom a desert waste, because of violence done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.” Ezekiel says Egypt will become a land of utter waste and desolate. This is a prophecy that has yet to be fulfilled.

The more I study Israel and prophecy I can understand why American presidents have tried to obtain a peace treaty with Israel and its neighbors. When Israel is attacked nations will be destroyed and the Middle-east will become a nightmare. The results will affect the whole world. Our president’s biggest mistake was to require Israel to give up covenant land that God had given to them. However, the Palestinians would never have accepted Israel without land they believed was theirs. It is a no-win situation. The best thing for America was to have let prophecy play itself out. When we got involved and made stipulations on Israel we paid the price as I have previously written. Some of our best times were when President Reagan and congress supported Israel 100% and made no requirements. President Carter was not supportive and we had some very difficult times as a nation. Inflation in 1980 had reached 13.5%.

Read Isaiah and Ezekiel and you will see what is to come in the very near future. I have read them at least 25 times. We would have to be naïve not to realize how this will affect the United States. Our stock market and the economy could tank. But the good news is we know who wins, many will know the Bible is accurate and there appears to be a last chance for salvation before it gets worse. Pray that God continues to delay because of the hearts of people are softening and accepting Christ as their Savior. I believe the length of time before this happens could depend on Christians and our prayers. II Peter 3:9b – “He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

Are We Living On The Edge Of Disaster?

Friday evening 6/11/10, I was watching a film on CNBC leading up to the failure of Lehman Brothers. They had accumulated a debt of $613 billion dollars. During that film it became apparent that the world was on the edge of a financial collapse. Had the incorrect decisions been made it could eventually have caused the world’s finances to become frozen. I am aware that there are millions who disagree that we were ever on the edge.

Having worked as a financial advisor since 1987 I have followed the market very closely. When I see most of the world having financial problems and the U.S. $13 trillion dollars in debt and rapidly climbing I am led to believe we could have had a financial collapse and it’s still possible. Presently, if we have any more really bad news than we have already had, I fear the market could take a real nose-dive. Otherwise, it could slowly continue upward as there are some positive signs of a recovery.

I hope our politicians are not creating crises in order to promote their agendas. I believe there is absolutely no excuse to have the uncertainty that now exists. Of course, I realize that my economic philosophies differ from the administration and congress. However, when I was taking a minor in economics in college I would have believed what they are now doing would work. President Reagan’s financial policies convinced me differently.

We are living in a world filled with greed, immorality and evil. The results of how the world lives affect every one of us. Isaiah 57:20 – 21 – “But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. ‘There is no peace,’ says my God, ‘for the wicked.’” If you do not believe the wicked have been in control for a long time you are naïve. Is there any way we could get rid of the wicked and select leaders in business and politics who would become obedient to God? My contention is that we, as a nation, have fallen too far to make that happen.

We must consider that there is a very active group of people who believe our living standards are too high and we should be sharing with nations who are led by dictators and live in poverty. They believe it is American’s duty to bring their standard of living to meet ours. In order for this to happen they believe we need to become a one-world government. This morning on CNBC they were discussing about having a one-world bank that would replace our Federal Reserve. That way there would be one currency used in every nation. Then currency could not be manipulated or used for one nation’s advantage. This talk would be disregarded except the bible says one day this will happen. We don’t think this is going to happen next week. However, all of this talk must be taken seriously.

Revelation 6:1 – 2 – “I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!” I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.”

Some believe this represents the antichrist in his quest to conquer the world. Others believe it is symbolizing Jesus spreading the gospel or a last revival. I can’t see Jesus carrying a bow. However, since Revelation was written they have had every one on that horse but Elmer Fudd looking for rabbits. Others believe the horsemen do not represent people but ideas, concepts or symbols. For example, the rider on the white horse will spread a radical ideology or theology that can change the world when all restraints are removed and fanatics spread their teaching on mankind, given permission by God. A worldwide anti-God movement will exist. When it looks like the world is headed for the start of a World War III there will be a man who comes as a man of peace who will take control of a one-world government and a one-world religion. I do not believe this is something about to happen in the next few months. It could take years. I have always believed the length of time before the end is to a large degree dependent upon Christian’s relationship to God.

But we continue to see signs of what is to happen as the end becomes nearer. Isaiah 13:1, 4 – 5 – “An oracle concerning Babylon that Isaiah son of Amoz saw: Listen, a noise on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together! The LORD Almighty is mustering an army for war. They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens—
the LORD and the weapons of his wrath—to destroy the whole country.”

Babylon is believed to be Iraq. “They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens” is believed to refer to America. So far we have not destroyed the whole country. (I do not think this could happen under President Obama.) Next we wrote about the War described by Ezekiel in Chapters 38 & 39 that Russian, Iran and others would attack Israel. Then Asia will head toward Israel with an army of two million. At this time the one-world government will be in place. All of this must take place before the Day of the Lord or the day Christ return.

On April 8, 2010 I wrote that December 21, 2012 could not be the end of the world according to the Bible. All of the above must happen prior to the Day of Judgment. So we still have time to delay the events that must happen prior to the end. But it will take prayer and God’s intervention. Can we count on you?

Sure Way To Stop The Oil Leak In The Gulf

If President Obama asked the American people to pray at a specific day and time that God would intervene and either show us a way to stop the leak or through a miracle have it stopped. Do you believe God would answer our prayer? Is there any political leader who has the courage to have our country call on God?

If the governor of Louisiana were to make the suggestion what would America’s reaction be? Would it be political suicide for any politician to make that suggestion? Wouldn’t you think that a Christian nation would have already had a national day of prayer? Let’s assume that our politicians are more concerned about staying in power than putting America first. Where is America’s clergy? Why have they not been recommending prayer on a national basis? It may take more than one preacher asking his congregation to pray. I would suppose churches on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico would be praying. I have not read or heard of this happening. I suppose our liberal media would not believe it news worthy to report if churches were praying.

As a nation do we not believe that God is in control? Isn’t it possible that God allowed this disaster for a reason? Where is America’s faith in God? Isn’t this telling us an awful lot about the spiritual condition of America?

May I suggest that if our nation went to our knees and asked God to intervene in the oil spill He probably would give us a way to stop it. I doubt that He would use a miracle to plug it the minute we prayed. God wants people to accept Him on faith. An instant miracle would take away all doubt in many people’s minds that there is a God. But surely God knows how this can be stopped. So why aren’t we as a nation asking Him?

How many Christians when faced with a unique disaster tries to solve it and never even thinks of praying? I believe there could be a lesson in all of this. If God were interested in a spiritual revival He could use the stopping of the leak as a real motivator. However, it must start with us and through prayer. It seems to me that it has to be done on a national basis either through our political leaders or through a combination of Christian leaders. I have the faith to believe God would answer our prayer. But we must not delay! We must not sit on our hands and do nothing expecting a miracle.

Next, may I suggest that President Obama select two executives from six major companies that are now drilling in the Gulf to meet in the White House. They would develop solutions to capping the leak. We must provide a way for God to answer our prayers. I believe God would give this task force an answer to the problem. This is how He normally answers. Then the President could make sure the recommendations were carried out.

Second, I would suggest President Obama secretly call Prime Minister Netanyahu and tell Him we are going to start supporting Israel and mean it. (See my blog – “God must protect Israel”) At this point, Christians should continue to pray. Otherwise, this oil problem can affect our entire planet—meaning economy, jobs and everyone’s standard of living.

Is The Power Within Us Being Ignored?

My last few postings have been in regard to proving that God has used the nation of Israel to prove that He was God and that the Bible was 100% inspired by Him. I have tried to show the difference between what the Christian Bible states that God made a covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He would make them into a great nation and give them the land that they are now occupying. Whereas, Muslims believe the covenant was with Abraham and Ishmael, Isaac’s half-brother. As a result, Muslim’s believe that God’s land covenant is not with Israel but with them. Therefore, they must destroy Israel or the Koran or Quran and Mohammed are incorrect.

I then pointed out that God has made some promises that He must keep. We know our God is a God of justice. If He said that He would curse any nation that cursed Israel He must stand by that promise. I then wrote of severe weather conditions that have cost lives and billions of dollars. These disasters at times occurred on the same day that an American president or his administration was demanding that Israel give up some of its covenant land to the Palestinians.

Initially, President Truman was the first, of any nation, to immediately recognize Israel as a state in 1948. With the exception of President Reagan most presidents have accepted Israel as an ally and not necessarily as a nation with a covenant from God. I then pointed out that the first president to begin demanding Israel to give up their covenanted land was George H. W. Bush. Presidents Clinton and George Bush continued to require Israel to cede land to the Palestinians. It appears that President Obama may be the first truly anti-Semitic president with a bias toward the Muslims. I assume this through his actions toward Muslim countries, the Palestinians and his treatment of Israel.

I remind you of the above in order to point out that God has an obligation to curse America according to Genesis 12:3. It seems that the way God gets His point across is through natural disasters, such as: tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes and flooding. Again, I am not saying that every earthquake, volcano eruption or tornado is a result of God punishing a nation. Not every nation is anti Israel yet they have these types of natural disasters. But I have been very concerned with our present administration’s relationship with Israel. What might we do to stop the necessity of God having to curse America? My belief is: what if the U.S. had a spiritual revival and we as a nation turned to God as Israel would often do when they would go through times when God would punish them for their rebellion and immorality.

I turned to a Christian friend and asked: “How much do you rely on prayer and the Holy Spirit?” I was talking to a person who has been a Christian for many years about the world problems in general. It didn’t take long before I asked him about how the Holy Spirit was working in his life. It was kind of like: “Well I have the Holy Spirit, but what do you mean?” I replied: “Do you realize the power that is within you having God’s Spirit to direct and check you?” He answered: “I know the Holy Spirit is in me because the Bible is very clear about that. But what are you getting at?” I told him: “What do you think the Holy Spirit is in you to do? Don’t you believe that God’s Spirit wants to help you just as much as you would want to help your own children? The Bible is very clear that salvation allows us to become adopted into God’s family and a part of God comes to live within us.”

I wanted to make sure he understood God promises that if we pray to Him He will answer our prayers. I asked how do you think our prayers will be answered if the Holy Spirit doesn’t communicate to us nor doesn’t make what is needed to happen? Our whole conversation was about realizing the power of prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit that is within us.

I wonder just how many Christians realize the power of prayer. James 5:16 – “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” Yet, it seems like too few people realize that prayer can really change things. Why am I pointing this out? I believe we are living in a time that our only hope for America is that we start praying that God will intercede for us. It is apparent our leaders are leading us away from God. I can’t see a whole lot of difference between the Old Testament Jews who rebelled and ignored God and the U.S. As Jews prayed and changed their lives and lived for God, they prospered. Praying Christians could also make a difference. However, it seems we have the power of the Holy Spirit within us and yet we ignore or do not realize what God wants to do through us. The power of the Holy Spirit within us is being ignored by too many Christians.

The “Tea Party” is making a difference politically. But how do we get Christians to go to their knees and pray to God that the hearts of Americans soften and allow the Holy Spirit to change their lives. If God is in control, as I believe He is, don’t you believe it would be easier to get God to change things than to try to change politicians who appear to be steadfast in their progressive beliefs?

Do you believe America would change if every believing Christian would take a few minutes each day to pray that God would soften the hearts of unbelievers and they would accept Christ as their Savior and begin living according to God’s “will”? Go back 60 years when we had a completely different America. Most people do not realize the difference between living in a truly Christian nation and in a nation with decreasing allegiance to God. There is absolutely no way we can get back to where we were through politics. The only answer is through God’s intervention and changed lives and that requires prayer. So I ask again: is the power within us being ignored?

Keep Sinning And Pay The Consequences

I listened to my normal sermons this weekend. One sermon was on the consequences of sin. The minister gave the example of King David who had committed adultery, indirectly committed murder and lied. God forgave him and stated that King David was a man after His own heart. King David is one of the greatest spiritual examples in the Old Testament. As we know he wrote much of the Book of Psalms.

The sermon pointed out, no matter what sins we have done God will forgive us. For example the sins of Rahab, the prostitute, who hid the two spies who had entered Jericho, was forgiven of her past. In fact Christ is a part of her linage. No matter what any of us have done God promises that we can be forgiven.

In I and II Samuel it tells us what occurred in David’s life as a consequence of those sins. When King David broke the Commandments under the Old Covenant it required justice to be given. As a result of King David’s sins the consequences were tremendous. One son dies, another son Amnon becomes a rapist, his son Absalom conspires with others and takes over the kingdom from King David. King David flees and his problems continue.

It appears that God allowed the story of King David and Rahab to point out that all sins can be forgiven. It is also used to state forgiveness does not eliminate consequences for past sins. Many believers may continue to sin with the idea that they can be forgiven. Romans 6:1 – 2 – “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” It is a mistake to try and manipulate God. There will be consequences to pay for sinning.

Colossians 2:13 – 14 – “When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.”

Prior to being saved when our soul was dead, we were living, guided by our self-centered nature and motivated by evil. God through Christ made our soul righteous by forgiving our sins and He made us alive and heirs with Christ in God’s kingdom. Man was a total disaster trying to keep the laws and regulations given by Moses. If we kept books on our sins we could have filled volumes. God, through Christ, destroyed those volumes and stated that no record of sins would be kept in the future.

What about a Christian who is living according to God’s “will” and runs into all kinds of devastating circumstances? Their problems may not be a result of sin. To the best of their knowledge they may not have deliberately sinned. A lot of our problems result from making wrong choices. I believe God allows bad consequences to happen that we might learn from the experiences. I have not heard of one example where a person won a super large jackpot and had no experience with money, had it spent within three years or at least most was gone. Let a non-gambler multimillionaire, who bought two lotto tickets win and the winnings may be worth 25% more within three years.

Problems that occur, in which we had little or no control, I believe God may be preparing us for greater things ahead. Have we ever thought that what happens on earth could be in preparation for eternity? We know that Christ will come back to rule on this earth for a thousand years. What will be our ministry or what will we be asked to do. We must continually remember when problems come, to ask: “God what are we to learn from this?”

Before we do something we know is completely out of the will of God we must ask ourselves: “What could be the consequences?” The consequence of sin can destroy families, careers, businesses and reputations. Most of us can relate to story after story of people we know who have met with devastating consequences as a result of sin. Do they think God isn’t looking? Do they think God can be fooled? Sin causes consequences whether it is now or at the Day of Judgment. The Bible is very specific: should we go on sinning? Paul answers: “By no means!”

Everyone is tempted! Some just don’t struggle with being tempted. It is a matter of priorities and spiritual maturity. Think twice before yielding!

The Signs Of The End Times

Each weekday, as part of my job, I am researching the Internet on the world’s economies, politics and any information that might influence the U.S. stock market. Some of the things I read are fairly pessimistic. I then must realize that we have a media of “progressives” who do not believe in our present capitalistic system and prefer liberal socialism.

It is apparent our allies can no longer trust us. Russia and China are doing everything to support foreign governments who oppose us. The Middle East is arming with nuclear weapons with intent to destroy us. Our status as a world power is slipping. Fewer nations fear us.

Consider the financial problems engulfing the sixteen European nations. Our media critics are suggesting America’s better days are behind us. Is it any wonder the confidence of Americans has been suffering?

We are seeing where the administration is becoming involved in religion. It appears they want a religion similar to the Church of England that can be controlled. Political leaders are asking priests and minister from the pulpit to promote immigration amnesty. What happened to the separation of church and state? Doesn’t Revelation say in the end-times there will be a one-world government and one religion?

Are we not seeing “end-time signs”? Do we as Christians just ignore what is happening? I suppose in the Old Testament similar situations occurred and Israel failed to turn to God. What happened to the Jews is exactly what God said would happen. I can see the same situation occurring in the U.S. and history tells us we have only one choice.

I had wondered why President Obama had so many Jews in his cabinet and he being so anti-Semitic. I recently read where approximately 80% of the Jews in America were Liberal Socialist Democrats who hate both the U. S. capitalistic system and Israel. They are in favor of a Totalitarian Government and are backing the “Progressive Movement”. Their philosophy is to punish the achievers and provide for the non-achievers. It is permissible for each of them to have wealth but it is not alright for others.

They support President Obama’s edict not to allow any Israeli aircraft to land at any US Base in the Middle East. He is seeing to it that Israel will have little possible means of attacking Iran. It seems he has taken the same stance that Jimmy Carter did. They are pledged to cause the demise of the nation of Israel and its people. When you see 80% of American Jews supporting Obama and his policies it makes you wonder if this also isn’t indicating the end-times getting nearer.

Keep in mind; Satan has always tried to destroy Israel. He motivated Pharaoh to put them in bondage in Egypt. He tried to destroy them in the wilderness. He tried to get King Saul to kill David, Israel’s only true king. He sent them into captivity to Babylon. He urges Israel’s enemies to resist the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem by Nehemiah. He provoked Herod to try and kill the baby Jesus. Satan’s reasoning: destroy Israel and you destroy any link to God. Presently, he is working on Iran, Syria, Russian and others to try again to take out the Israelites.

Approximately five years ago when I taught Revelation to a class at Central Christian Church, according to my notes, I said, economically the European Union one day will be headed for total disarray. Unemployment will be high. Their social welfare programs and socialized medicine will someday bankrupt their economies. They cannot continue to provide pensions and benefits as they have been doing. The population will complain when they have to cut benefits. Riots or a civil war could break out. Jobs could be difficult to come by. Two powerful leaders could take control. One saves the economies and the other brings peace to all of the warring peoples and nations through a world religion. Any wonder what that world religion might be. Scripture refers to the two as the anti-Christ and the false prophet. From these two we shall see different signs and miracles and they will deceive even the church elite.

When I covered this information with the class I was expecting these events would be 20 or 30 years away or longer. With what I see going on today it may take a dictator to bring the sixteen nations together. Otherwise, it may be reduced to as few as ten.

Many will not believe these events could be possible and those will be the deceived. Revelation 14:9 – 11 – “ A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.”

I John 5:4 – “for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”

Revelation 22:12 – “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.” Some theologians interpret it as I will be coming quickly. We must be ready; our rewards will be based on the deeds we have done for Christ.

Again, I ask that we pray for the protection of Israel, the U.S. and a spiritual revival to take place in the hearts of both believers and un-believers. Scripture tells me prayer could be our only hope.

What If Everything You Had Was Lost Through Bankruptcy?

I have experienced many situations since becoming a Christian more than fifty years ago. My family has belonged to very legalistic churches, churches dying within, growing churches and evangelistic churches. We have been friends with liberals, conservatives and those who didn’t know what they believed. One of my favorite sermons has been on the Prodigal Son. I have heard it preached by different ministers at least 25 or more times. The Bible makes it very clear that the son’s notorious living was with prostitutes and drunkenness. However, when he had reached the extreme bottom of life his father took him back, forgave him and treated him as part of the family. This is what God has available for anyone willing to ask for forgiveness and willing to repent and live the “will” of God. Sometimes there is a price to pay for our past sins. If you have been an alcoholic prior to salvation you could be left with a liver as tough as leather. Chances are God is not going to change it and you will have to live with it.

I have personally known for more than ten years a Christian man who has either directly or indirectly committed every one of the Ten Commandments. This gentleman became independently wealthy in a business most Christians would never consider being involved. Had he invested his money wisely he could have retired prior to reaching the age of 50. For the past 15 years he has completely devoted his life as a solid, committed and totally obedient Christian. He is, a pillar so to speak, in his church and a person highly respected by other Christians. A number of years ago he sold his business and has worked in different areas since. Helping friends and relatives he invested his life savings with them and lost all he had accumulated from the ways of the world. He recently had to declare bankruptcy. What would you tell someone if they asked: “Why would God allow this to happen?” Not wanting to be put in a place of one of Job’s friends (Book of Job), I suppose it could be that God wanted to take everything in his past and have him start over completely. God allowed Satan to take away everything Job had been given. However, when Job remained true and committed to God, God replenished him with more than he had originally.

I suppose anyone with an usually sinful past history would have problems with guilt. Do we not believe that anytime something bad happens in our lives that God knows what is best for us in the end? I have had situations occur that taught me tremendous lessons. Being involve in sports as a player and a high school coach I have always learned more from losing than I ever did from winning. Maybe it is just me but I learned very little from winning in life. However, when I failed I wanted to know why and what could I do so it wouldn’t happen again.

I John 5:4 – “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.” NLT – The world is not interested in whether we succeed or fail. However, God wants us to succeed. Who will we put our trust in? It all boils down to how much faith do we have in God? If we believe God wants us to succeed is He not going to help us through the Holy Spirit? Are we going to let the guilt of the past control us or is God really punishing us to keep us down? We have a choice to listen to the devil, who is trying to defeat us or listening to the Holy Spirit who is trying to get us to new heights. I Peter 5:8 – “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”

How often do Christians stop to realize that evil spirits are bombarding them daily with temptations to distract them from doing God’s will and to be lured by the world’s ways? Everyone doing it must make it right!

It doesn’t make any difference that others think of you as being a success or a failure. It is what God thinks of you. Did God create any one of us to fail? What if a child was afraid of falling? Would they ever learn to walk? How strong is our faith? Do we see ourselves as God sees us? And who are we going to listen to: the Holy Spirit or the devil who is looking for someone to devour? It is time for each one of us to check our faith and trust in God and then begin setting and achieving goals. There is no reason any one of us shouldn’t be successful in whatever we do within the “will” of God. Bankruptcy can be a beginning and a new start. It does not have to be looked upon as a failure. Stop listening to the devil who creates fear and guilt and listen to the Holy Spirit who wants to raise you up.

Is America Under A Curse?

For years I have studied Revelations and prophecy. Recently I wrote a blog: “President Obama’s relationship with Israel.” I am deeply concerned with this administration’s treatment and their policies toward Israel. I am in the process of doing research on the disasters that occur each time our nation has made certain territorial demands on Israel. Since May 1948 we have had times when we were blessed and times when we may have been cursed and disasters occurred.

Genesis 12:3 – “I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” This verse keeps coming to mind when I hear of some of the demands we keep placing on Israel and then watching unusual events happen. But I am not the only one. I am seeing a lot of evidence that others have gathered information to substantiate what I believe has been developing.

History has taught us that anytime a nation, whether it was Spain, Germany, the Roman Empire or the United Kingdom turned against the Israelis their countries suffered either economic devastation or military defeats.

President Reagan is the only recent president who was 100% behind the nation of Israel. Others have done everything to establish a Palestinian nation and take land that God had given to Israel to placate the Palestinians. Under Reagan the U.S. became the only super power left and forced the dissolving of the USSR. Was that a result of giving his full support to Israel?

We talk about climate change causing tornadoes, a volcano erupting in Washington State, floods in New Orleans and Tennessee that we hear little about, oil spills in Alaska and in the Gulf of Mexico plus 9/11. All the while our presidents were demanding that Israel divide Jerusalem and cede more land to their enemies. Our present administration’s treatment of Israel, I believe is leading us toward a path that other countries have followed and ended up a shadow of their previous existence. They are telling the Jews to disregard the promises that God had given them. Their ignorance or arrogance seems to be that they know more about what is good for Israel than what God promised Abraham. It seems they neither understand the Bible nor have studied past history. Let’s not, at this time, consider the moral decay of America as a result of our leaders ignoring God.

It is my belief that we could disregard climate change altogether. But we need to take a pro-stance on Israel and back them 100%. I believe we would see America turn around and become more healthy morally and more prosperous. God has promised any nation that would bless Israel He would bless in return. However, if you are anti-Christian you would never agree to what history has proven about countries being blessed or cursed. (Italy, the headquarters for the Roman Empire, is near bankruptcy today.) Satan has spread his power throughout the world, to such degrees, that if we took a Christian stand and supported Israel; we fear every nation would be against the U.S. Our leaders are more concerned about what other nations think than what God has promised.

We are getting ourselves so in debt that we will soon begin cutting back our military force as you have heard President Obama start with diminishing our nuclear weapons. Once our economy becomes so in debt, America will no longer remain a super power. (According to Scripture China could take our place.) When that happens, Scripture appears to tell us that we will seek to become a one-world-government. As Europe becomes stronger and America becomes weaker a leader will emerge called the Antichrist.

They have located a huge amount of gas off the Israeli coast that is capable of supplying many European countries. (Isaiah 45:3 – “I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.”) This would supplant the supply that is now coming out of Russia. Russia is now using gas to blackmail some nations. Russia’s loss of supplying gas to other nations could cause the Russian army, with Iran and others, to attack Israel as I wrote previously from Chapters 38 & 39 of Ezekiel. Surprise! The Bible tells us Israel wins.

The ruler of the one world government will make a peace treaty with Israel because of their need for gas and oil that Israel has located. However, that treaty will last for only three and one-half years. At that time He will believe the world is in a position to break that treaty and take over Israel. When this event takes place Revelations tells us how it all ends.

I am not naïve enough to believe that most who read this blog will agree with what has been written. Many have misinterpreted Scripture to the point that Satan has led us into believing that Scripture does not tell us when the end is coming. Jesus tells us no one knows the day or time. But He also told us that there would be signs given. And, is there anyone living capable of reading those signs? There are hundreds of Bible scholars believing we can. You be the judge!

Whether it a short time or a long time before the end is questionable. The Bible indicates the end-time could be delayed as a result of Christian’s praying. This is why I have asked Christians to become prayer warriors and pray that God intervenes and stops what is going on in this world. If you want our children and grandchildren to live in an America that was once a truly Christian nation we must become active prayers. If Christians ignore what is going on and do not get on their knees and ask for a revival in the hearts of people I think God’s wrath will come quickly. We can delay the end but we must believe in the power of prayer and God’s promises. If you have not done so, may I suggest that you go to Facebook and search for “100 prayer warriors” and sign up to pray for a revival. (I prefer writing positive blogs and this is meant to be one.)

Las Vegas – Sin City or the Louisiana Coast?

When Hurricane Katrina hit we were told it could be due to the sinfulness of those states on the Gulf of Mexico’s coast, particularly Louisiana. Now there is a tremendous problem with a devastating oil spill headed for the same area. God must really have it in for those people.

Christ, in chapter two of Revelation asked John to write to the church at Pergamum. Rev. 2:13a – “I know where you live—where Satan has his throne.” Pergamum was the most famous city in Asia. History tells us the people worshipped power and authority. The people of Pergamum didn’t care about right or wrong only about themselves.

I talked to a lady from Cambodia who said their government was so corrupt they didn’t care about the people only themselves and their lavish lifestyle. This was typical of governments in the Old Testaments and since.

During the apostle John’s time, the author of Revelation, it was believed by the people that Satan’s throne actually existed in Pergamum and it seems Christ is confirming this belief. The city was surrounded by a society that was non-Christian and its values, standards and lack of morals permeated the population. Satan can be in only one place and in Revelation we are told he can be in a human body. But he has an efficient organization of millions of fallen angels and demons that are against Christianity and the world. They are everywhere.

Las Vegas, like Pergamum, can be the most difficult place for a Christian to live because of the tremendous Satanic and sinful influences. Las Vegas, as in Pergamum, many Christians have stayed true and faithful to the teachings of Christ. However, in Las Vegas like Pergamum, believers can be easily deceived. Some Christians believe they can co-exist with the world and believe that living as the world does is acceptable to God.

It is easy to become too legalistic and condemning, in this atmosphere, and the opposite of legalism is being too liberal. Churches and many Christians find it difficult to be in between theologically. We must not reject believers who are living on the edge. We must be encouragers and lead by example.

There may be little difference, sin-wise, between those being harmed by hurricanes, tornadoes, oil disasters or earthquakes and the lifestyle of many living in Las Vegas or elsewhere. If God is doing any punishing for immoral living, I would suspect there are many cities and states that would be found just as guilty. Is God punishing cities like Las Vegas and Detroit through economic crises? Could we really blame God for what these two cities are going through economically? Or, could it be a result of human greed? In my 36 years in Las Vegas it was assumed Las Vegas was recession proof—build and they will come. Maybe God is punishing Arizonan’s with being the kidnapping capital of America because of their evil deeds. How far do we take this to reach the conclusion that if God is punishing people for how they live, is anyone safe?

Al Gore and his people would have us believe that God is not in control. We can live anyway we desire just as long as we don’t melt the ice caps and glaciers. How far do we go before stopping this silliness? Study Revelations! The closer we get to the end-times the greater nature and the climate will change. Earthquakes and famines are predicted regardless of how you live or where you live. I contend that if the world converted to Christianity God would see that the earth would change for the better. However, we know the chances of that happening are minimal. Satan has made too many inroads and people’s hearts are so hard they could never be convinced or converted. Moses tells of the hardened heart of the Egyptian Pharaoh. No matter what miracles or signs were given he refused to give in until the eldest son in every Egyptian family died. So don’t be surprised, as we get closer to the end, if from time to time we see national disasters and these horrible events happening anywhere at any time. God is in control and is allowing the Book of Revelation to play out! If you want to know what to expect—study it.
