The most difficult decision for most people is planning for the future. Very few will reach the age of 65 and be financially prepared for retirement. Probably even fewer prepare for life after death. Most of us live for instant gratification. We hope some miracle, such as winning the lottery, or the government will take care of us in our old age.

For many years I have been an investment advisor. The statistics that I constantly read seems to indicate most people just do not care about the future. No matter how much information they are given, it doesn’t change the way they save or invest.

Many do not believe there is a possibility that they could live forever if they made the right decisions and the world ends as we know it. The Bible tells that many will meet Christ in the sky and be raptured. That is referring to those who have been adopted into the family of God through salvation in Christ.

Scripture states they will be given an imperishable body that can live for a 1000 years. Revelation 6:12 – 14 – “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

An earthquake of 9.1 – 3 occurred on December 25, 2004 in the Indian Ocean. More than 240,000 people were killed in 14 nations. Yahoo news reported the Indian Ocean quake caused the earth to wobble on its axis and permanently altered the regional map. A 9.0 quake on December 16, 1811 caused islands to actually sink in the Mississippi River. Some wonder if the great earthquake in Scripture could change the earth back on it axis to where it was before Noah’s flood when humans lived close to a thousand years with their current bodies.

In Revelation 20:4 – 6 – “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.”

Some believe that when Christ returns to reign on earth those thousand years, peace on earth will be ushered in by the church. Non-believers who have died since Adam & Eve will not be raised until after the 1000 years at which time they will be judged. It does not appear that saved believers of Christ will have to stand for judgment. The judgment will be for those having died sinners and have denied accepting Christ as their Savior.

God cursed His original creation because of the sins of Adam & Eve, Cain and those living prior to the flood. It is believed during the Millennium, the first three curses will be removed as the ecology and environment will return to pre-flood conditions. We are not sure how this will happen but as the Apostle Peter said, “If God promised it, then He knows how to do it.”

It is believed in those 1000 years, families will be raised and life will be without pain and all of one’s needs will be met. The world as we now know it, will be completely changed and we will not remember the present world. It will be an earth that is indescribable. But that world will end and a new one begins.

Revelation 21:1 – 4 – “Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

The old world and all of its evil will be gone forever. A new kind of heaven and a new kind of earth will be created. It must be different to allow a person’s body to last through eternity. Our diets will be different as we eat fruit from the Tree of Life. It was the same kind of tree that Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat. It is believed that many things on earth will be similar to the old earth but the main differences are: There will be no sun, Satan will be defeated, sin will be banished, people will live with God, the curse will be removed, all sins, tears and sorrows will be gone. The main thing is, death will be defeated and believers live with God forever. We are back at the beginning of the cycle when God had a relationship with Adam and Eve. As God provided everything for them, the same will be provided for believers.

For everyone who believes there is a God, knows He has always kept His promises. There is a future life possible and who would not want to live under those conditions? How important is planning for the future? Why is it so difficult for people to believe all of this is possible? If a person is willing to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior they can be adopted into the family of God and their future will be secure.

Some authors writing novels, start at the last chapter and when that is completed, they start writing chapter one. They then give suggestions as to how the book will end. To some readers, they are able to figure out how it will finish. However, many are surprised at how the book turns out completely different from what they thought.

We have a God who has known when and how the last days would end from the very first day of creation. He then inspired writers to start Scripture from the beginning, giving hints about how the end would turn out. As they write, He gives them suggestions of what happens to those He created if they do not obey His commands and His ways for living life and fail to trust Him.

Sinful man was cruel at heart. It was the law of the jungle and there was very little peace. Walls were built around cities for protection. When armies would raid or start a war with others, they would kill all of their opponents, loot all of their possessions and then look to attack another city or nation. Often times, women and children would be saved to become their slaves.

God chose one man, Abraham to begin a new nation who He could teach how He wanted people to live. Abraham had two sons: Ishmael, son of Hagar the slave girl and Isaac, son of Sarah his wife. Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob. God detested Esau’s ways and Ishmael was also rejected. Ishmael and Esau are the fathers of most of the Arab nations and the enemies of Israel that surround this nation today.

God promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that they would inherit forever, the land that was from Egypt to the river Euphrates. Which the Bible says they will possess some day.

Isaiah 41:8 – 10 & 13 – ““But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “ “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.’”

The Israelites kept denying God and were continually disobedient. So God sent His Son to explain to them what was expected and that He would be sacrificed for the sins of everyone who would accept Him as their Lord.

The Holy Spirit inspired the Bible writers and they often predicted what was going to happen in the future. They were continually given signs that something was to occur. There were times when no signs were given. Psalm 74:9 – “We are given no signs from God; no prophets are left, and none of us knows how long this will be.” They continually were looking for signs because God used the sun, the stars and the moon to announce special events. He used seven years to keep people out of debt. He used 50 years, as a year of Jubilee, when all land had to be return to the original owners. Once He stopped the sun from going down. He used a star to announce the birth of Jesus. He has used the eclipse of the moon when it would turn blood red on a Jewish religious holiday four times in a row to announce a special event.

Approximately 2000 years ago Jesus was asked for a sign as to when we might see the world, as we know it, end. This is what the writers told us:
Matthew 24:3 – 14 – “ As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time, many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Isn’t it gratifying to know that for generations we have been told to look for the signs? January 28th, 2015 will be the forth blood moon to fall on a Jewish religious holiday. The year 2017 will be a Jubilee year. This year, 2015 is the Jewish seventh year and usually a financial problem occurs.

Should we become concerned about the signs that are about to take place? Will God keep His promise that signs are not to be ignored? Within one and a half years, the above three signs will have taken place. There will be two signs in 2015 and one in 2017. Have you figured out how the last chapter ends yet? If you have, you have probably accepted Christ as your Savior and have accepted Him and received the Holy Spirit. If not, you may not end up in eternity in the right place.

Most Christians are concerned about Israel as we should be. But we realize in the final days no one will protect Israel but Jesus Christ. But we know what is expected according to Scripture.

Zechariah 12:9 – 11 – “On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem. “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.”

Ezekiel 39:8 – 10 – “It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord. This is the day I have spoken of. “‘Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

Isn’t it reassuring to know how it all turns out in the end? We have been given the last chapter. Now it is up to you to see if you can figure it out and trust God. Two things God has always demanded: trust and obedience.

Most people do not realize they were born with a purpose for life and neither seek it or find it. Everyone has been given a temperament and that temperament determines what jobs we will do well or not so well. There are certain things that motivate us and many that do not. The Bible says love is the greatest of all motivators.

The Bible says we are to love God with all of our strength and others as ourselves. What if Scripture were to say that love is the greatest motivator and you must learn how to love to be successful in life? Therefore, you must learn to love God, your Creator and learn how to love others. If you do this, you will be richly rewarded in every way. If everyone accepted, we would live in a very different society.

The chances of being successful are greater if we love what we are doing. As a head coach in football, basketball and baseball in a Christian high school, I saw that an athlete who loved the game played much better than one who only wanted to win or do well. The person who loved the game spent hours practicing trying to improve themselves. Many only did what was necessary. The same requirement was for the coach. A good coach learned to solve problems. He loved to encourage and improve his players. His job was to spot problems and get them corrected, both with individuals and as a team. If you love your job you will always be trying to improve it. If you don’t love it, who cares?

I entered college wanting to major in accounting and become a CPA. This was before computers and calculators. The first course was basic accounting and this was what I wanted. The next semester I took Income Tax Accounting and Cost Accounting. It took hours of preparation. I discovered quickly, this was not my temperament or my God-given purpose. My second year, my major became Business Management with minors in Education and Economics. I may have even hated being a CPA and chances for success would have been limited. I have had hundreds of employees who thought: “I need to earn an income and this job was available”. If that is you, start looking for a job that you could learn to love.

Every job I have had, there were problems. I learned that one of my purposes in life was in solving problems. Often there are problems in churches that need to be solved. Most just want to ignore them. Many churches we have belonged to realized their mission was to spread the gospel and help people to accept Christ as their Savior. Their actions seemed to say: “If you are not okay, you are not welcome.” They were very good people but often legalistic, self-righteous and judgmental. If you had not been a Christian for a time, you just did not fit in.

Sitting in an Elder’s meeting, our senior pastor Jud said he had attended a meeting and heard a person say: “We should be saying its okay to not be okay.” This had been our churches problem. Who was Jesus preaching too? It was not the religious leaders but sinners. It gave us a different understanding in how to spread the gospel and win people to Christ. We needed to be saying, we love you as you are and you are welcome. Once a non-believer accepts Christ, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance and Bible courses, they change and live according to Christ’s teaching. Our people became less judgmental and legalistic and more loving. People need to be loved and not shunned if you are going to win them.

Do you think God created you to be a failure? In the Bible Jesus picked out very ordinary people to be His Apostles. He picked out fishermen and common people and not the religious leaders to illustrate that we can become more than we believe possible. Success is not about how much material wealth we accumulate or how much we know. True success is about whom we become, our character and the positive influence and love we have for others. We will know success when we find what we are doing is something that we compassionately love to do.

One thing Scripture tells was that the men Christ picked did not become successful until they had received the Holy Spirit. Before that, they were slow learners, lacked faith, they were fearful, denied Him and were little different from others. Their success was a result of living their lives according to what God wanted, what the Holy Spirit told them to do and gave them the power to do it. They lived their lives in accordance to what God and Christ wanted and not what they wanted. Of course, they had a different mission and plan than we have been given. However, we should be just as dedicated in accepting God’s plan for us over what we think is best. That doesn’t take away our free moral agency to chose. Regardless of what we choose, will it allow us to be available to be His servant in His ministry?

The Holy Spirit can do for every Christian what He did for the Apostles and Christ’s disciples described in the Bible. It takes surrendering of our self-centeredness and living the example Christ set for us. We have been given the same Holy Spiritual power that they received. That power, in many Christians, is power that is misdirected and unfocused and this is some of the difference between them and us.

If you want to be successful, discover your God-given purpose and it all starts with learning how to love God and others and then, do what you would love to do. Prior to 1903 there had never been an airplane. The Wright brothers saw a problem and loved finding the solution. Henry Ford developed the assembly line for his Ford cars. Don’t you believe he loved changing the world? If you hate what you do, chances are you will not leave a favorable legacy.

Scripture tells us that we are to pray for our leaders. This we must do. However, that does not mean that we have to agree with all of their policies. When we have leaders who go against God’s teachings, we must disagree.

We have an economic system that was based on Judeo/Christian teachings and we have a president and members of congress, who wants to change it. As Christians, we must voice our disapproval.

Consider this: The Bible states that Christ will return to rule for 1000 years. What type of an economic system do you suppose Christ will use? Do you believe He will take from the rich and give it to those who are unwilling to work? The following verses should give us an indication of what it might be. It shows what He would do with those unwilling to take risks to improve themselves.

Matthew 25:14 – 30 – “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. For whoever has will be given more and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’” NIV

Christ tells us He came that we might have an abundance. Matthew 13:12 – “Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” This also applies to knowledge, wisdom and common sense. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 – “For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” Do you believe under Christ, 50% will rely on the government to meet their needs?

The Bible does not support laziness and it was not acceptable in any form. Those who refused to work and were able to, were not to be given food. They should not depend on others to take care of them. However, for those unable to work, they were well taken care of by church people. In fact, we are continually encouraged to, at all times, do our very best as an example for Christ. There is no excuse for anyone who has both the ability and opportunity to provide for their needs. One thing I learned as a Christian, if I wanted to get ahead, get promotions or a better job, was to work harder and become more prepared than others. I was fortunate that there were not a lot of people willing to give 100%.

Satan does not want us to believe that God can take care of us. He wants us to deny there is a God and allow a world ruled by his chosen person, (the Antichrist) to be the world’s savior. We, as a nation, have instituted polices to prepare for this to happen.

President Obama has suggested that if he gets an agreement with Iran, he will take it to the United Nations for approval and disregard congress and the American people. Does that give you any indication where we are headed if you have studied your Bible and prophecy? It is great that congress passed a bill not allowing that to occur.

Individual rights are in danger of being taken away. We, as Christians, must be willing to take a stand for the principles this nation was founded upon. Most of my life we had Christian leaders leading our country. This does not seem to be the case presently. We are allowing the few to change our country to deny the existence of God. Government must never try to replace Him, which they now are doing. We are seeing end-time prophecy being fulfilled.

It isn’t a medical breakthrough that medicine can keep you alive for ever. However, there is a promise given by God that a time will come when those belonging to His family will be raptured and will meet Christ in the sky. They will be given an incorruptible body that could last for a thousand years.

Are you interested in planning for the future? Are you ready to prepare for living without dying, if Christ comes back prior to a physical death? Here is what is required: You must accept Christ as your personal Savior, then repent and change how you have been living. Having lived as the world lives and set in ones’ ways, God gives us His Spirit to help us change.

Romans 8:14 – 17 – “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to son ship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”

The Holy Spirit doesn’t instantaneously or automatically produce a perfect or moral spiritual person. However, we are given a new nature to replace our old nature. Our new nature allows us to become sons and daughters of God’s family. As Gods adopted children, we are to build a Father, son or daughter relationship. This gives us the privilege of calling upon our Father for help in living daily lives. This may be hard for some to accept and trust, but this is what God Promises and has planned. God wants what is best for His children.

God’s Spirit is also given to us to free us from the curse placed on Adam and Eve. Christ’s forgiveness gives us a clean slate to start this redemptive life. All past and future sins are forgiven. We must have the faith to accept that we have been given the power to become a new person with a new direction to live life. As a new person with a new direction, we are preparing to become more like Christ and the image that man was created to be. The final result is a life in eternity with God and Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:26 – 27 – “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”

Probably much of the time we are not sure what we should be praying for. Even when we don’t know the right words to pray, the Holy Spirit prays for and with us. If God is helping us pray, we should not be afraid to approach Him with our requests knowing that He will answer according to what is best for us. This also is why the Holy Spirit helps us to pray and develop that relationship with God and Christ. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to God’s will. This is how we find God’s purpose for our lives. In addition, the Holy Spirit is to help us to become conformed to the image of Christ.

The Apostle Paul talks about feeling empty or incomplete in this world to the extent we groan (long for) help within ourselves. This is when the Holy Spirit carries our thoughts and feelings to God. We also know that Christ sits at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.

Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

It can be difficult to understand that when bad things happen to us that we hear this verse. We live in an evil and cursed world and bad things can happen to anyone. Why does God allow it? It is kind of like the laws of the universe. If we walk outside on a rainy day we are likely to get wet. If non-believers were the only ones getting into car wrecks we would see a lot of convictions. Why should we think that only good things will happen to Christians and only bad things happen to non-believers? God does not work to make us happy, but to make us better people with a purpose to serve Him and others better. But God can take a bad circumstance and turn it into a long-term good or useful purpose. As Christians we must learn to accept, not resent pain and persecution because God is with us.

If we do as Scripture has required and Christ returns, we will not need to die physically. We will be given the opportunity to have that new body and live under the rule of Christ for 1000 years until a new heaven and a new earth is provided. Can you imagine what life will be like with a new glorified body and living with Christ on this earth? Therefore, are you ready to prepare for the future that could mean not having to die a physical death?

In a financial paper that I just read stated that some believers who dislike America’s fiscal policies so much that they will do whatever it takes to change our capitalistic system and individual freedoms. Their goal is to establish a new world under the control of the United Nations. They have admitted that man’s carbon dioxide emissions are dangerously challenging the climate, to use in destroying capitalism. They believe global warming is the issue that will cause America to change into a socialistic nation. They are using academics and the mainstream media to push their agenda. After twenty years the earth has not followed the climate change model that they have been predicting.  Recently heard that President Obama will be running for Secretary General of the UN in early 2017.  This gives us a better understanding of his governing policies.

Israel will have been in existence since May 1948. After the Temple and Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 A.D. Tens of thousands of Jews were killed and the rest were scattered through the world. Rainfall decreased and the land became a desert. When Mark Twain visited Israel in 1867 He said it was the most desolate place in the world. He related that you could travel for miles not seeing a person.

After the Jews began returning to Israel after World War II rainfall began to increase. They developed an irrigation system and today they export foods, vegetables and citrus fruits to other nations. Did the land become a desert because of man-made causes, since there was no one living there? Did the rainfall increase because of something man did?

Do you believe that God can make it rain? Do you believe that Jesus caused the storm to cease when He and His disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee? Do you believe God can cause draughts or grant abundant prosperity? Then why would you believe in man-made global warming or climate change?

The United States has potential to be the most prosperous nation we have ever been. We could be so militarily powerful that we could cause complete peace in the world. Financially we could help every suffering nation have clean air, water, and the latest medical provisions and spread the gospel to every person in the world.

Can you see why Satan does not want the United States to take advantage of our capitalistic economic system? If you were a political leader with about one million dollars and knew you could make one-half billion by promoting global warming, would you do so? One politician did! Remember when Satan tempted Jesus and offered him the world if He would worship him? I wonder: are there any politicians that would accept that offer today if Satan were to offer it. Or what would they be willing to do for money? I believe Satan has deceived a lot of people. As the morality of the world gets worse, Satan will deceive many who are religious to reject God’s Commandments and ways of living. If you don’t see the decaying morality that is happening today, you have not been watching TV or reading the evening news.

I believe we are living in the end times and Satan does not want you to believe it. If you thought that within a few years the world would end as we know it, would you change if you thought there was a slight chance you could end up in hell? If everyone believed we were at the end, we would not have enough churches to handle the crowds. Satan—the great deceiver! He wouldn’t want that. Presently, he is preparing the Antichrist to take over and rule the world and we are submissively allowing it to happen in order to be politically correct.

President Obama believes that he saved America from a second great depression. As a result, we should be grateful. But job growth and his polices have caused the worst recovery after any recession in the past fifty years. If you believe we are headed toward much greater economic growth, the chances are slim. The President blames Republicans for not allowing him to borrow more so that he can spend more on social programs and shovel-ready projects. He doesn’t believe Washington has borrowed and spent enough money. This is why the first quarter only grew by .2%.

Having been in business for many years, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that there are things that can be done to turn this fabulous nation around economically. We need to develop a plan to increase productivity and real growth. He has been told to lower corporate taxes which are the highest in the world. He should know by now that building the Keystone Pipeline would create high-paying jobs. There needs to be some repealing of anti-employment features in the ObamaCare health care plan. Another would be getting control of the EPA which would save many jobs and give opportunities to open new businesses. We have previously read estimates that at least one trillion dollars in extra expenses is what all of the needless regulations cost each year. What if that money was spent on businesses expanding?

We need to get rid of thousands of useless regulatory rules that keep businesses from expanding and increasing costs making products more costly. Over a period of years we could probably reduce at least 25% of these regulations and reduce thousands of bureaucrats. We have enough rules to control most every need someone can envision.

Our local Ward’s store became a test for the entire national chain. Every person selling big ticket items on commissions was given a salary and commissions were discontinued. I objected vehemently with no luck. It didn’t take long for sales to decrease drastically. After many meetings, we convinced the need to have an incentive structure. We went back to commissions and sales began to increase significantly.

This is the problem with welfare, food stamps and other social programs. There is no incentive to do anything but sit on a sofa and watch TV. We are reading where there are all kinds of jobs available but there is no incentive to want to work. In addition, we are not educating our young people to qualify for many of the jobs that are open. The answer is not to throw more money at the problem or increase socialism.

We will never get real growth until we get people back to work, earning a livable wage with incentives to get raises and promotions. This will not happen until American’s attitudes become much more positive that the country is headed in the right direction, the direction we have pursued for over 200 years. Following Satan’s agenda is changing the culture of the U. S., and there are too many uninformed people that are gullible enough to accept what the false teachers are preaching. So when you hear them talking global warming or climate change, remember they are promoting socialism or communism. To them it is a religion.

There is more written in the Bible that tells you what will keep you from heaven than what must be done to get to heaven. It is very clear; we must become a recreated person that accepts Christ as our Savior and change how we live. Our guarantee is receiving the Holy Spirit into our lives.
Scripture tells us in Galatians 5:21 – “I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Those sins are: when you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these.

This does not mean that a believer who lapse into any of these sins will lose their salvation. However, those who habitually do these things reveal their character and they live by their sinful nature. They are not children of God and will not receive His inheritance. It is very evident they have not received the Holy Spirit. Any person having received the Holy Spirit cannot live that kind of a life.

Galatians 5:22 – 26 – “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.”

How different it is when people live the life of the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is an outward expression of Christ dwelling within. There is a difference between gifts of the Spirit and fruits of the Spirit. Everyone having the Holy Spirit can receive the fruit. Only certain people receive certain gifts. The fruit grows as we are willing to die to our self-centered nature.

The greatest fruit of the Spirit is love. Love not only frees us from the laws but it gives us a true spiritual life. John 15:15 – “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Christ didn’t just say it, He did it on the cross. That kind of love only comes from the Spirit within us. God loves us with an unconditional love. We must return His love unconditionally with no strings attached. We then must share our unconditional love with others.

Joy comes from the Spirit that conditions the heart with confidence in one’s relationship with Christ. A normal reaction is an expression of celebration, which empowers us to be a Christian. Joy makes us strong and produces energy. Joy cannot be self-created, but comes from obedience.
Peace comes from God. His requirement is that we live in peace with Him and with others. He causes us to preach peace and be peacemakers. It is far more than freedom from strife. It means justice between people. Paul was at peace knowing that nothing could separate him from the love of God. (Romans 8:38 & 39)

Patience is in regard to people, not to things or events. Patience is another expression of love or impatience is a result of selfishness. Paul said, “Love is patient and kind.” If someone crosses us, do we react selfishly or selfless by being patient and kind in our confrontation? How patient is God with us?

Christ expressed kindness to the sinning woman who was caught in adultery. Kindness comes from the heart.

I John 5:13 – “ I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.” NLT

Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord”.

Romans 10:13 – “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Colossians 3:11 – “In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.”

Most individuals, who believe there are a heaven and a hell, do not want to go to hell. Therefore, they take out fire insurance for protection. Scripture in II Timothy 3:1 – 7 Paul points out there can be evil people at work in the church. He warns Christians to watch closely for their daily behavior will give them away. He also stressed not to get involved with them. These false Christians will take advantage of people.

People accept Christ as their Savior but maybe for the wrong reason. We must receive Him as our Lord and we must be willing to repent and allow the Holy Spirit to make us a new person. If there are no changes in your life, chances are you did not receive the Holy Spirit.

Many in the church fail to understand what it takes to receive the Holy Spirit’s power. Matthew 7:13 – 14 – “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Many remain on that broad road with the wide gate and never enter the narrow gate that leads to the narrow road that provides the power that Christ describes.

Changes that need to take place are a willingness to surrender our self-centeredness to become more Christ-like. It requires becoming submissive to God’s commandments and His ways. We must learn to love unconditionally to be able to overcome our self-centeredness. Paul taught that we must be submissive and serve one another from an unconditional love. Marriages where one is not willing to serve and be submissive to the other do not work well. They have failed to learn to love and self-centeredness controls.

Our bodies and our emotions influence many of the decisions we make. We often do whatever makes our mind and bodies feel pleasurable. We can also be influenced by spirits controlled by Satan. Therefore, we may have a positive and a negative continually guiding our lives. We are told that some have sold their souls to Satan to obtain what Satan tempted Christ with, such as: power, fame, wealth or great achievements.

God provided that we could have an inner power to balance out negative influences. He made available His Spirit, through Jesus Christ, that would help us realize what is right and what is wrong. In addition, He provided the Bible that we could understand how to live with these bodies and emotions He created for us and the influences that Satan offers. Without the balance provided by the Holy Spirit many have little control over these negative influences.

Not everyone who receives the Holy Spirit is filled with the Spirit. There are Christians who Jesus talks about in His parable of seeds being planted. Some are planted on hard soil, some on rocky soil, some fell among thorns and only those who fell into fertile soil produced a crop. The Apostles asked what Jesus meant and He gave the following Scripture:

Matthew 13:11 – 12 – “He replied, ‘The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Those who have will be given more, and they will have an abundance. As for those who do not have, even what they have will be taken from them.’”

You may accept Christ as your Savior in your head but fail to receive Him into your heart. Once you receive Him in your heart, because you have made a commitment to deny yourself and live for Him, you will be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Before you were conceived God foreknew how you would live your life. If you never planned to allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life to assist you in overcoming the negative influences, you may never understand what God requires of you. If most times your sinful flesh or earthy nature sends urges that you know are wrong to do and the Holy Spirit checks you, yet you deny His help; the chances are you have never allowed the Holy Spirit to fill you with His presence. We each have a moral choice. Will we allow the two influences to direct our life or ignore the positive encouragement coming from God’s Spirit? God will never force you to do His Will. Everyone has a choice as to whom they will follow. Who you allow to direct your life is how you will behave?

Matthew 13:14 & 16 – “In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them. But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.’”

Those who have not accepted and allowed the Holy Spirit to change their lives; their hearts will be hardened to the point they will have little understanding of the Ways of God. And on the broad road with the wide gate, they live their lives denying God’s power so they can be in control.

We have political leaders being led by Satan as we approach the end times. They have taken God’s laws from all public places and forbid using Christ’s name in public prayers. A recent article in the Wall Street Journal stated that in 2011 a poll was taken and 66% of Americans believed that political leaders should not rely on their religious beliefs in making policy decisions. Is President Obama using polls to determine his support of Christianity?

Presidents and politicians in the past believed that God chose America to carry out His purposes. That was to spread the gospel to the world and assist those afflicted and in need. He also wanted a place for Jewish people to live here and be accepted, plus the U.S. was to protect and defend Israel as it became a nation.

Many people do not remember that in 1947 the British gave up their rule in India. They divided India into two nations: India and Pakistan. Hindus moved to India and Muslims moved to Pakistan. There have been three wars between India and Pakistan and resulted in approximately one million being killed. Much of it was instigated by religious differences and many believe that had there not been a difference in religious beliefs there would have been no need for the wars.

God says that Israel and America will pay for their disobedience and He states He will change the weather pattern. Satan does not want us to believe that our weather problems are caused by God, so they say climate change is man-made.

II Chronicles 7:13 – 15 – ““When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”

Many political leaders want all people to become free from all religious beliefs. Is it time for Christians to take a stand and get rid of those who have allowed Satan to take over and replace our God? God’s laws are being replaced with political correctness. Should we not back politicians who want to take us back to allowing God to be in charge? If God is not allowed to intervene, this nation is in real trouble.

Isn’t it time for Christians to pray and be obedient to God’s commands and His ways. We must pray that God will intervene and change the thinking of our political leaders as well as Christians. We must also pray that we accept our responsibility to protect Israel.

We must stop Americans from following Satan and get this directed to following God. God has been sending America a number of signs and warnings. Are we watching and becoming concerned? Do you feel any responsibility as a Christian to become more aware and active?

2 Timothy 3:1 – 7 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

Are we not seeing this in America today? Every few weeks we see looting and rioting in American’s streets. Sixty years ago, people were protesting but in an orderly way.

2 Timothy 3:10 – 13 – “You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”

Many progressive liberals believe it is the 80% of Americans, claiming to be Christians, who cause most of the world’s problems. They believe Christians are too judgmental and self-righteous. Christians are against same-sex-marriages, homosexuality, abortion, adultery and big government with unrestricted bureaucrats. Christians who live holy lives, based on Biblical principles, normally do not vote for extreme socialists because their beliefs are so different and the Bible teaches to stay out of debt. Every seventh year debts were to be forgiven, so everyone could become debt free. It appears many of our national politicians have never read the Book of Leviticus in the Bible. The year 2017 is a Jubilee year when debt is to be forgiven and everyone starts out debt free.

Matthew 24:9 – 12 – “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,”

False teachers with loose morals cause many to lose their love for Christ and God. Sin separates one from God. This is exactly what false prophets, teachers and political leaders are trying to do. Belief in God turns one’s focus away from their leadership. Have you not noticed that they are against anyone who does not believe as they do? In current news reports, Wisconsin has a district attorney that is having police break into homes that do not believe as he does. Of course, those living in those homes are conservatives. It is no different than how the IRS was treating conservatives previously under this present administration.

So far, it is Christians in other parts of the world that are suffering severe persecution for their faith. For the president to condemn the Killing of these Christians in the Muslim world, would show that he agrees with the 80% who are Christians. Since he shows many disagreements with Christian beliefs in morality, he does not want to alienate the 20% progressive liberals, secular humanists, atheists and others by the condemning of those killing Christians. Have you not notice that the 20% are changing America while the 80% remain silent? Isn’t it time Christians started pushing back?

Christians are watching TV shows, seeing movies and reading books that show an anti-Christian view of how the world lives. Most do not understand that most worldly views come from demonic powers whose ideas are assaulting our families and our faith. We must realize that many in this world are being influenced by Islam who controls the Middle East, Northern Africa and much of Asia. It has been increasing rapidly in Europe and slightly in America.

Many believe that America and other countries’ leaders are preparing for the Antichrist and a one world government as described for the end times. In the 8th chapter of Daniel we are told the Antichrist, who is completely wicked, will arise and become very strong, but not in his own strength, and he will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy the mighty men and the holy people. He will cause deceit to prosper.

If we are nearing the end times as the Bible and Christ predicts in Matthew, the 24th chapter and we see climate change, famine and earthquakes, do you suppose that Satan would want the world to know it is close to the end-times? God tells us if we will repent of our ways and accept Christ as our Savior, He will forgive us and give us peace and prosperity. Satan does not want us to repent and submit to God, he wants the world submitting to him. He must deceive the world and if he can convince us that it is man destroying the planet by using carbon fuels to cause climate change and Fracking for natural gas and oil that is causing earthquakes, then it is man’s causing and the world is not about to end.

How can our president lead as he is, if he was a believing Christian? Many of his policies are as bad as those kings described in the Old Testament who consistently displeased God. God’s punishment was not just on the king but on the people. It would not surprise many of us if we had a financial meltdown or some other kind of a catastrophe as a result of administration policies and lack of support for Israel.
