I was shocked when I read that many Christians do not believe in Hell, Satan or Evil. There are approximately 2.3 billion Christians worldwide. I did research and find this is accurate. It seems, these same Christians either do not read the Bible or believe it is the inspired Word of God. Many complain that by saying there is a hell, there is a Satan and there are evil spirits in this world should not be said, because it scares children. I am not advising Christians what to believe or not to believe, but if you have been watching TV and anarchy in the streets you must realize there is evil in this world. Have you noticed the beheadings and torture done by ISIS?

I have studied the Bible for more than fifty years and believe in its accuracy and wonder how can they claim to be a Christian? Therefore, I am writing to Christians who believe there is a hell, Satan and evil spirits because the Bible tells they exists.

Realizing there are many unbelievers I did research into the Paranormal. I learned that some of our military returned from the Middle East hearing voices in their head and seeing shadow people. I learned of the many who have witnessed haunted buildings and homes. My research has led me to believe that we are in the end times and Satan is creating a type of hell on earth. This is why we are witnessing so much chaos in the world. God is allowing this to happen to separate the believers from the unbelievers in preparation for eternity. Expect Satan to continue to instigate what is happening to take away peace and prosperity so that many will follow the Antichrist when He takes over and changes everything.

Matthew 7:21 – 23 – “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” I suppose this is referring to those who do not believe in a hell, Satan or evil spirits. Just a supposition wondering who it is that He is denying eternity with Him that claim to be believers. Some say there are no evil spirits and people are not demon possessed, they are mentally ill. In the gospels, especially Mark, we are told about the number of people who were demon possessed.  Apparently these unbelieving Christians have never read the Bible or believe in its accuracy. We may wonder what percent of people are demon possessed today.

We hear of murders, torture and extreme abuse and wonder if these abusers could be possessed. The Exorcist movie was about a boy who was demon possessed for using an Ouija board. You may have seen where objects flew around. We know of homes and buildings being haunted. Some go to séances and hear voices. Many may not believe in inanimate objects being possessed but we believe they can be. The Demon possession is a proven fact confirmed by the Catholic Church and those who do exorcisms. The Bible and Jesus confirm it.

Luke 8:27 – 31 – “When Jesus stepped ashore, he was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothes or lived in a house, but had lived in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!” For Jesus had commanded the impure spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places. Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him. And they begged Jesus repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.”

II Corinthians 4:4 – “The god of this age (Satan)* has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (*My description)

I Timothy 4:1 – “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

II Timothy 3:13 – “while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

II Chronicles 18:22 – “So now the Lord has put a deceiving spirit in the mouths of these prophets of yours. The Lord has decreed disaster for you.”

Ephesians 6:12 & 16 – “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Verse 16 – “In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”

Are you likely to find the devil in church? If Scripture says he or his demons are everywhere, then he must also be in the church. He is there to cause trouble, divide Christians and make Christians powerless. If you are not aware of the devil being in the church, you may not be involved enough. Because of my job and being transferred I have been a member of 12 churches. The devil is there!

Do you find it hard to find time to read and study your Bible? Could it be possible that you have been influenced by the devil not to study? Corinthians 11:14 – “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. “ This is how he operates inside the church.

Our children think it is neat to play the Ouija board, dungeon and dragons or the Charlie, Charlie game that is being played in many schools calling on the demon Charlie to answer their questions and this is how some can become possessed as you may have seen in that movie.  Christians, we have a responsibility to teach, especially our children, that the devil wants their soul. Much of todays out of control behavior, may come from evil spirits and anti-God believers. Many have no fear of God or respect for authority. This may be why America seems to be in chaos. Not only that but, 200 million Harry Potter books have been sold aimed at children. They make witchcraft and wizardry a form of entertainment. Harry goes to the school of witchcraft and Wizardry and is taught about a Sorcerer’s ability and the occult. How many parents are allowing their children to believe there is no hell, or Satan or evil? If so, what may we expect in the future?

Have you not read that a number of stars and prosperous people and I suppose maybe a politician and religious leaders have actually said they sold their soul to the devil for success, fame and power? You don’t believe any of this? Consider, maybe Satan has blinded you!

Many do not believe we are living in the end times and believe the world will go on forever. Jesus tells us in Matthew 24:3 – 5 – “ As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. “

Jesus tells us there will be signs and then gives the signs. Did Jesus say that knowing no one would look for the signs and recognized them when they came? In the early church there were a number of false teachers and many rejected God and that Jesus was the Son of God. In the Book of Jude, who many believe was the brother of James and the half brother of Jesus, wrote warning us what to expect is coming to Christians. Both Peter and Jude wrote to warn every Christian what to expect and to be prepared for this time.

Jude 5 – 6 – “Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.”

2 Peter 2:4 – 9 – “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.”

They both wrote about false teachers and their false doctrines. Jude told Christians you must understand the message of God’s grace in order to reject false teaching. They will undermine the faith of believers. Is it possible someone will write a book telling us what is political correct and then say this will take the place of the Bible? Any Christian who is not politically correct is available for persecution and legally being sued.

Jude 17 – 23 – “But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.”

As we study Ezekiel we know that Gog and Magog with Iran and other Arab nations will attack Israel. Ezekiel 38:4 – 9 – “I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.
“‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety. You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.'”

Some believe widespread atheism and secularism will change overnight in the Jewish world in light of the supernatural protection of Israel. We shall also see an unprecedented resurgence of religious expression among Israelis and among Jews worldwide. Many Jews will become united around rebuilding the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. Isaiah 2:2 – “In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills and all nations will stream to it.” Daniel, Micah, Paul, John and Christ confirm this. Security experts now believe that the Temple Mount is the most dangerous square mile on the planet.

We have false teachers in our universities, we have politician involved in cult worship, and we have religious leaders who are spreading a gospel different from the Bible. We have anarchy in our streets with mobs calling for the killing of police. We have teen gangs rioting and looting.

The forth blood moon falling on a religious holiday will occur on September 28, 2015 according to NASA, as a sign stating something spectacular will happen. Joel 2:31 – “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”
Are we seeing signs of the end time and the end of the Church Age?

I believe that God allows Christians to go through pain, suffering or problems to get us to respond. Scripture says that once we accept Christ as our Savior, God will make us more Christ-like. When a Christian goes through problems, suffering or pain, you should immediately turn to God.

Whatever it takes to drive us closer to a personal relationship with God is actually good for us.
Have you ever questioned why God allowed Job to go through all he went through? The Book of Job has always been a question: “What did Job do to deserve what happened to him?”

Job 1:8 – 12 – “Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. “But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.” The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.”

Satan causes Job to lose his children and servants. All of his livestock and wealth were taken from him. His home was destroyed and he was covered with boils from bottom to head. Scripture says that Job fell to the ground and praised and worshipped God.

Satan approaches God and God asks: “Though I allowed you to do all that you did without any reason.” Job still praised God. Suffering from the boils all over his body Job complained. His wife instructed him what to do. Job 2:9 & 10 – “His wife said to him, ‘Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die’. He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.”

Three friends arrived to console Job. However, they accuse Job of having sinned and God was punishing him. Job 19:21 & 22 – ““Have pity on me, my friends, have pity, for the hand of God has struck me. Why do you pursue me as God does? Will you never get enough of my flesh?”
No matter what Job went through, He was obedient and trusted that God intervene in time. As a result of all that he went through God finally blessed.

Job 42:12 – 17 – “The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. And he also had seven sons and three daughters. The first daughter he named Jemimah, the second Keziah and the third Keren-Happuch. Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers. After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation. And so Job died, an old man and full of years.”

I have always wondered what the purpose of what Job had to go through and why this story is in the Bible. Does God allow Satan to tempt us and cause terror in our lives? God knew before Job was ever tempted what Job would do.

For God know all things, present and future. What are we to learn from this story? Does God allow problems and pain so that He can reward us with material blessings?
The answer I received was that God wanted us to know that if we have enough faith and enough trust and have been living an obedient life; God will give us the strength to withstand any and all problems or pain. Job and the Apostle Paul handled their problems because they trusted God’s power and strength that He provided.

If you have ever gone through times of tremendous problems and stress, did you handle it like Job did? We are to be aware that tough times could come and are we prepared to handle them as Job had?

If you are observant, you must see that America is so different from what it was 70 years ago. Our nation was established on a faith in God and religious freedom. America’s constitution was formed on the foundation of the Law of God and the Holy Bible. We never heard of demonic spirits which come from a form of idolatry and witchcraft years ago as children.

I have listened to a number of Christian missionaries who spent considerable time in Africa talk about the number of demon possessed people. They were not aware there was a God and they believed in Voodoo and witchcraft. The Bible states that Jesus may have spent 25% of His ministry casting out demons and evil spirits. Many knew that there were evil and demonic spirits in the world but never realized they existed in the U.S. There is plenty of evidence that they have changed the lives of many Americans.

American Christians today, only about 55%, believe the Bible is totally accurate. Less than 50% of Christians polled believe Satan represents evil, but do believe that a person can be influenced by demons. About 50% did not believe in the Holy Spirit indwelling in the life of a Christian.

If all Christians polled don’t believe as the Bible teaches, what about people who do not know God and belong to satanic cults? Is there any wonder that our nation is drastically changing? What about local, state and government leaders. Do you think what they believe and their character affects the lives of Americans?

As we study Bible prophecy we learn that in the end times, many will move from the truth and except beliefs of all kinds. There will be a revolt and many will end their dependence on God and move away. We are being prepared for the revealing of the Antichrist.

2 Thessalonians 2:6 – 12 – “And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”

The Antichrist will not be revealed because he will be held back by the Holy Spirit until the appropriate time. Scripture says his power of lawlessness is already at work. Can we not see evil and demonic spirits working in America and the world now than ever before? This man will be very powerful and will receive notoriety and loyalty from the masses. He is Satan’s tool and will be given all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders in order to deceive all.

Why do we believe that God will allow this wicked person to act without restraint? In order for people and nations to be shown their own sinfulness and to see what happens when they rebel against God and refuse the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Once he is revealed he will act with great power and unrestricted evil. Are we not sensing this happening today?

Revelations says the Antichrist will make fire flash down to earth from heaven while everyone is watching. His power and his miracles will deceive and cause unbelievers to perish who refuse to love the truth or gospel message and be saved. Those who chose to follow the Antichrist; God will send a powerful delusion so that they will believe his lies and thus be condemned for not accepting Christ as the Savior. God uses Satan as part of His judgment for rebelling.

I Timothy 4:1 – “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”

I believe prophecy is telling us to read the signs and get ready. We are seeing prophecy fulfilled before our very eyes. This is why evil and demonic spirits are getting people to be willing to accept and to prepare for the Antichrist. There are people listening to these spirits and are doing as they say. It is not going to get better, only worse.

John 3:36 – “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”

Have you had a serious problem and have asked God to rescue you? When the situation was over and the problem resolved, were you wondering where God was in it? We know that if we are filled with the Holy Spirit He hears every one of our prayers. I do not believe God causes problems or sickness. Most is due to our poor decisions, inherited or Satan. As in the case of Job, in the Bible, He allowed Satan to cause havoc. No matter how much we pray, it does not seem He sometimes does anything to change the situation.

Having had massive heart attacks and bypass surgery twice, you pray almost continuously while in pain. First, you are wondering why God is allowing this to happen. Second, you are wondering if you will continue to live. It has been times like these that my faith was stronger than at any other time. Each experience changed my life completely and how I lived the future. God promises He will answer our prayers, He just doesn’t say how.

After having a problem, there have been times something extra unusual or supernatural occurs that happens to me or I see. It is almost like God is saying: “I wanted you to know that I was aware of everything you have just gone through and my Spirit is with you every minute.” Was God getting my attention to pray more, even though I pray every morning and night? At least, it does build one’s faith to know that God is aware of everything.

I have often written, the two things I believe is God’s greatest requirement is that we trust Him and we must obey His ways and commandments. Sometimes it takes pain and problems to teach us faith and get our attention. I am often reminded of the song: “Trust and obey, for there’s no other way.”

Proverbs 3:1 – 7 – “My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.”

God chooses what is best for us. He knows what we need in life. We must trust without question. God says He has a plan for our lives. To serve and submit to Him, I must accept that He has a plan and I must make every effort to following the leading of the Holy Spirit. He promises us His protection and will guide us.

Scripture tells us that love and faithfulness are important. A faithful person believes and trusts God in all things. Our character reveals whether we are truly loving and loyal. God is a better judge than we will ever be. We must trust Him in making choices. Do you always ask God’s help before making major decisions? Have we turned every area of our lives over to God and the Holy Spirit?

What are your priorities and values? God must be a part of everything we do. If we find it hard to submit, trust and obey and believe we don’t need the Creators help, we will probably encounter physical problems. Proverbs 3:8 – “This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” This is referring to following the path that God has laid out for us to follow. As long as we stay on that narrow path we may have fewer pain and problems.

Two of my favorite verses tells me what spiritual gifts are available: Galatians 5:22 – 23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Think you have problems or are in pain? Next to Jesus the Apostle Paul was one of the greatest Christian examples. I This is what he wrote: 2 Corinthians 11:23 – 29 – “Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?”

Maybe there is a reason for the pain and problems we face. God knows best!

The most difficult decision for most people is planning for the future. Very few will reach the age of 65 and be financially prepared for retirement. Probably even fewer prepare for life after death. Most of us live for instant gratification. We hope some miracle, such as winning the lottery, or the government will take care of us in our old age.

For many years I have been an investment advisor. The statistics that I constantly read seems to indicate most people just do not care about the future. No matter how much information they are given, it doesn’t change the way they save or invest.

Many do not believe there is a possibility that they could live forever if they made the right decisions and the world ends as we know it. The Bible tells that many will meet Christ in the sky and be raptured. That is referring to those who have been adopted into the family of God through salvation in Christ.

Scripture states they will be given an imperishable body that can live for a 1000 years. Revelation 6:12 – 14 – “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

An earthquake of 9.1 – 3 occurred on December 25, 2004 in the Indian Ocean. More than 240,000 people were killed in 14 nations. Yahoo news reported the Indian Ocean quake caused the earth to wobble on its axis and permanently altered the regional map. A 9.0 quake on December 16, 1811 caused islands to actually sink in the Mississippi River. Some wonder if the great earthquake in Scripture could change the earth back on it axis to where it was before Noah’s flood when humans lived close to a thousand years with their current bodies.

In Revelation 20:4 – 6 – “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.”

Some believe that when Christ returns to reign on earth those thousand years, peace on earth will be ushered in by the church. Non-believers who have died since Adam & Eve will not be raised until after the 1000 years at which time they will be judged. It does not appear that saved believers of Christ will have to stand for judgment. The judgment will be for those having died sinners and have denied accepting Christ as their Savior.

God cursed His original creation because of the sins of Adam & Eve, Cain and those living prior to the flood. It is believed during the Millennium, the first three curses will be removed as the ecology and environment will return to pre-flood conditions. We are not sure how this will happen but as the Apostle Peter said, “If God promised it, then He knows how to do it.”

It is believed in those 1000 years, families will be raised and life will be without pain and all of one’s needs will be met. The world as we now know it, will be completely changed and we will not remember the present world. It will be an earth that is indescribable. But that world will end and a new one begins.

Revelation 21:1 – 4 – “Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

The old world and all of its evil will be gone forever. A new kind of heaven and a new kind of earth will be created. It must be different to allow a person’s body to last through eternity. Our diets will be different as we eat fruit from the Tree of Life. It was the same kind of tree that Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat. It is believed that many things on earth will be similar to the old earth but the main differences are: There will be no sun, Satan will be defeated, sin will be banished, people will live with God, the curse will be removed, all sins, tears and sorrows will be gone. The main thing is, death will be defeated and believers live with God forever. We are back at the beginning of the cycle when God had a relationship with Adam and Eve. As God provided everything for them, the same will be provided for believers.

For everyone who believes there is a God, knows He has always kept His promises. There is a future life possible and who would not want to live under those conditions? How important is planning for the future? Why is it so difficult for people to believe all of this is possible? If a person is willing to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior they can be adopted into the family of God and their future will be secure.

Some authors writing novels, start at the last chapter and when that is completed, they start writing chapter one. They then give suggestions as to how the book will end. To some readers, they are able to figure out how it will finish. However, many are surprised at how the book turns out completely different from what they thought.

We have a God who has known when and how the last days would end from the very first day of creation. He then inspired writers to start Scripture from the beginning, giving hints about how the end would turn out. As they write, He gives them suggestions of what happens to those He created if they do not obey His commands and His ways for living life and fail to trust Him.

Sinful man was cruel at heart. It was the law of the jungle and there was very little peace. Walls were built around cities for protection. When armies would raid or start a war with others, they would kill all of their opponents, loot all of their possessions and then look to attack another city or nation. Often times, women and children would be saved to become their slaves.

God chose one man, Abraham to begin a new nation who He could teach how He wanted people to live. Abraham had two sons: Ishmael, son of Hagar the slave girl and Isaac, son of Sarah his wife. Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob. God detested Esau’s ways and Ishmael was also rejected. Ishmael and Esau are the fathers of most of the Arab nations and the enemies of Israel that surround this nation today.

God promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that they would inherit forever, the land that was from Egypt to the river Euphrates. Which the Bible says they will possess some day.

Isaiah 41:8 – 10 & 13 – ““But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “ “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.’”

The Israelites kept denying God and were continually disobedient. So God sent His Son to explain to them what was expected and that He would be sacrificed for the sins of everyone who would accept Him as their Lord.

The Holy Spirit inspired the Bible writers and they often predicted what was going to happen in the future. They were continually given signs that something was to occur. There were times when no signs were given. Psalm 74:9 – “We are given no signs from God; no prophets are left, and none of us knows how long this will be.” They continually were looking for signs because God used the sun, the stars and the moon to announce special events. He used seven years to keep people out of debt. He used 50 years, as a year of Jubilee, when all land had to be return to the original owners. Once He stopped the sun from going down. He used a star to announce the birth of Jesus. He has used the eclipse of the moon when it would turn blood red on a Jewish religious holiday four times in a row to announce a special event.

Approximately 2000 years ago Jesus was asked for a sign as to when we might see the world, as we know it, end. This is what the writers told us:
Matthew 24:3 – 14 – “ As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time, many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Isn’t it gratifying to know that for generations we have been told to look for the signs? January 28th, 2015 will be the forth blood moon to fall on a Jewish religious holiday. The year 2017 will be a Jubilee year. This year, 2015 is the Jewish seventh year and usually a financial problem occurs.

Should we become concerned about the signs that are about to take place? Will God keep His promise that signs are not to be ignored? Within one and a half years, the above three signs will have taken place. There will be two signs in 2015 and one in 2017. Have you figured out how the last chapter ends yet? If you have, you have probably accepted Christ as your Savior and have accepted Him and received the Holy Spirit. If not, you may not end up in eternity in the right place.

Most Christians are concerned about Israel as we should be. But we realize in the final days no one will protect Israel but Jesus Christ. But we know what is expected according to Scripture.

Zechariah 12:9 – 11 – “On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem. “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.”

Ezekiel 39:8 – 10 – “It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord. This is the day I have spoken of. “‘Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up—the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel. They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

Isn’t it reassuring to know how it all turns out in the end? We have been given the last chapter. Now it is up to you to see if you can figure it out and trust God. Two things God has always demanded: trust and obedience.

Most people do not realize they were born with a purpose for life and neither seek it or find it. Everyone has been given a temperament and that temperament determines what jobs we will do well or not so well. There are certain things that motivate us and many that do not. The Bible says love is the greatest of all motivators.

The Bible says we are to love God with all of our strength and others as ourselves. What if Scripture were to say that love is the greatest motivator and you must learn how to love to be successful in life? Therefore, you must learn to love God, your Creator and learn how to love others. If you do this, you will be richly rewarded in every way. If everyone accepted, we would live in a very different society.

The chances of being successful are greater if we love what we are doing. As a head coach in football, basketball and baseball in a Christian high school, I saw that an athlete who loved the game played much better than one who only wanted to win or do well. The person who loved the game spent hours practicing trying to improve themselves. Many only did what was necessary. The same requirement was for the coach. A good coach learned to solve problems. He loved to encourage and improve his players. His job was to spot problems and get them corrected, both with individuals and as a team. If you love your job you will always be trying to improve it. If you don’t love it, who cares?

I entered college wanting to major in accounting and become a CPA. This was before computers and calculators. The first course was basic accounting and this was what I wanted. The next semester I took Income Tax Accounting and Cost Accounting. It took hours of preparation. I discovered quickly, this was not my temperament or my God-given purpose. My second year, my major became Business Management with minors in Education and Economics. I may have even hated being a CPA and chances for success would have been limited. I have had hundreds of employees who thought: “I need to earn an income and this job was available”. If that is you, start looking for a job that you could learn to love.

Every job I have had, there were problems. I learned that one of my purposes in life was in solving problems. Often there are problems in churches that need to be solved. Most just want to ignore them. Many churches we have belonged to realized their mission was to spread the gospel and help people to accept Christ as their Savior. Their actions seemed to say: “If you are not okay, you are not welcome.” They were very good people but often legalistic, self-righteous and judgmental. If you had not been a Christian for a time, you just did not fit in.

Sitting in an Elder’s meeting, our senior pastor Jud said he had attended a meeting and heard a person say: “We should be saying its okay to not be okay.” This had been our churches problem. Who was Jesus preaching too? It was not the religious leaders but sinners. It gave us a different understanding in how to spread the gospel and win people to Christ. We needed to be saying, we love you as you are and you are welcome. Once a non-believer accepts Christ, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance and Bible courses, they change and live according to Christ’s teaching. Our people became less judgmental and legalistic and more loving. People need to be loved and not shunned if you are going to win them.

Do you think God created you to be a failure? In the Bible Jesus picked out very ordinary people to be His Apostles. He picked out fishermen and common people and not the religious leaders to illustrate that we can become more than we believe possible. Success is not about how much material wealth we accumulate or how much we know. True success is about whom we become, our character and the positive influence and love we have for others. We will know success when we find what we are doing is something that we compassionately love to do.

One thing Scripture tells was that the men Christ picked did not become successful until they had received the Holy Spirit. Before that, they were slow learners, lacked faith, they were fearful, denied Him and were little different from others. Their success was a result of living their lives according to what God wanted, what the Holy Spirit told them to do and gave them the power to do it. They lived their lives in accordance to what God and Christ wanted and not what they wanted. Of course, they had a different mission and plan than we have been given. However, we should be just as dedicated in accepting God’s plan for us over what we think is best. That doesn’t take away our free moral agency to chose. Regardless of what we choose, will it allow us to be available to be His servant in His ministry?

The Holy Spirit can do for every Christian what He did for the Apostles and Christ’s disciples described in the Bible. It takes surrendering of our self-centeredness and living the example Christ set for us. We have been given the same Holy Spiritual power that they received. That power, in many Christians, is power that is misdirected and unfocused and this is some of the difference between them and us.

If you want to be successful, discover your God-given purpose and it all starts with learning how to love God and others and then, do what you would love to do. Prior to 1903 there had never been an airplane. The Wright brothers saw a problem and loved finding the solution. Henry Ford developed the assembly line for his Ford cars. Don’t you believe he loved changing the world? If you hate what you do, chances are you will not leave a favorable legacy.

Scripture tells us that we are to pray for our leaders. This we must do. However, that does not mean that we have to agree with all of their policies. When we have leaders who go against God’s teachings, we must disagree.

We have an economic system that was based on Judeo/Christian teachings and we have a president and members of congress, who wants to change it. As Christians, we must voice our disapproval.

Consider this: The Bible states that Christ will return to rule for 1000 years. What type of an economic system do you suppose Christ will use? Do you believe He will take from the rich and give it to those who are unwilling to work? The following verses should give us an indication of what it might be. It shows what He would do with those unwilling to take risks to improve themselves.

Matthew 25:14 – 30 – “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money. “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’ “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. For whoever has will be given more and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’” NIV

Christ tells us He came that we might have an abundance. Matthew 13:12 – “Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” This also applies to knowledge, wisdom and common sense. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 – “For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” Do you believe under Christ, 50% will rely on the government to meet their needs?

The Bible does not support laziness and it was not acceptable in any form. Those who refused to work and were able to, were not to be given food. They should not depend on others to take care of them. However, for those unable to work, they were well taken care of by church people. In fact, we are continually encouraged to, at all times, do our very best as an example for Christ. There is no excuse for anyone who has both the ability and opportunity to provide for their needs. One thing I learned as a Christian, if I wanted to get ahead, get promotions or a better job, was to work harder and become more prepared than others. I was fortunate that there were not a lot of people willing to give 100%.

Satan does not want us to believe that God can take care of us. He wants us to deny there is a God and allow a world ruled by his chosen person, (the Antichrist) to be the world’s savior. We, as a nation, have instituted polices to prepare for this to happen.

President Obama has suggested that if he gets an agreement with Iran, he will take it to the United Nations for approval and disregard congress and the American people. Does that give you any indication where we are headed if you have studied your Bible and prophecy? It is great that congress passed a bill not allowing that to occur.

Individual rights are in danger of being taken away. We, as Christians, must be willing to take a stand for the principles this nation was founded upon. Most of my life we had Christian leaders leading our country. This does not seem to be the case presently. We are allowing the few to change our country to deny the existence of God. Government must never try to replace Him, which they now are doing. We are seeing end-time prophecy being fulfilled.

It isn’t a medical breakthrough that medicine can keep you alive for ever. However, there is a promise given by God that a time will come when those belonging to His family will be raptured and will meet Christ in the sky. They will be given an incorruptible body that could last for a thousand years.

Are you interested in planning for the future? Are you ready to prepare for living without dying, if Christ comes back prior to a physical death? Here is what is required: You must accept Christ as your personal Savior, then repent and change how you have been living. Having lived as the world lives and set in ones’ ways, God gives us His Spirit to help us change.

Romans 8:14 – 17 – “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to son ship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.”

The Holy Spirit doesn’t instantaneously or automatically produce a perfect or moral spiritual person. However, we are given a new nature to replace our old nature. Our new nature allows us to become sons and daughters of God’s family. As Gods adopted children, we are to build a Father, son or daughter relationship. This gives us the privilege of calling upon our Father for help in living daily lives. This may be hard for some to accept and trust, but this is what God Promises and has planned. God wants what is best for His children.

God’s Spirit is also given to us to free us from the curse placed on Adam and Eve. Christ’s forgiveness gives us a clean slate to start this redemptive life. All past and future sins are forgiven. We must have the faith to accept that we have been given the power to become a new person with a new direction to live life. As a new person with a new direction, we are preparing to become more like Christ and the image that man was created to be. The final result is a life in eternity with God and Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:26 – 27 – “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”

Probably much of the time we are not sure what we should be praying for. Even when we don’t know the right words to pray, the Holy Spirit prays for and with us. If God is helping us pray, we should not be afraid to approach Him with our requests knowing that He will answer according to what is best for us. This also is why the Holy Spirit helps us to pray and develop that relationship with God and Christ. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to God’s will. This is how we find God’s purpose for our lives. In addition, the Holy Spirit is to help us to become conformed to the image of Christ.

The Apostle Paul talks about feeling empty or incomplete in this world to the extent we groan (long for) help within ourselves. This is when the Holy Spirit carries our thoughts and feelings to God. We also know that Christ sits at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.

Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

It can be difficult to understand that when bad things happen to us that we hear this verse. We live in an evil and cursed world and bad things can happen to anyone. Why does God allow it? It is kind of like the laws of the universe. If we walk outside on a rainy day we are likely to get wet. If non-believers were the only ones getting into car wrecks we would see a lot of convictions. Why should we think that only good things will happen to Christians and only bad things happen to non-believers? God does not work to make us happy, but to make us better people with a purpose to serve Him and others better. But God can take a bad circumstance and turn it into a long-term good or useful purpose. As Christians we must learn to accept, not resent pain and persecution because God is with us.

If we do as Scripture has required and Christ returns, we will not need to die physically. We will be given the opportunity to have that new body and live under the rule of Christ for 1000 years until a new heaven and a new earth is provided. Can you imagine what life will be like with a new glorified body and living with Christ on this earth? Therefore, are you ready to prepare for the future that could mean not having to die a physical death?
