Beginning April 15, 2014 there will be a blood moon or a lunar eclipse at midnight PDT. This will occur on Passover. Another blood moon appears on October 8, 2014 on Feast of the Tabernacles. Then again a blood moon happens on April 4, 2015 on Passover and again on September 28, 2015 on Feast of the Tabernacles. Anytime there have been four lunar eclipses in a row, where the moon turns blood red, each appearing on a Jewish holiday, a major event has occurred.

In 1492 during four blood moons the Spanish inquisition of Jews occurred. All Jews were told to convert to Catholicism or leave the country. Many of those who stayed were killed. That same year an Italian Jew, Columbus, who was mostly financially supported by Jewish investors and the queen, set sail and discovered the American continent at San Salvador. Some believe many Jews from the lost tribes of Israel migrated to England. From England they came to help settle America. The Americas may have been created partly to protect Jewish citizens, from the lost tribes, as well as militarily protection for Israel. America was founded on Jewish/Christian principles and morality. At the same time, Christianity spread throughout the United States. When the Jews failed to spread God’s message to the Gentiles, He used Christianity to do so. Christians have taken the Gospel to most every country as the Bible prophesied.

In 1948, the next time that there were four blood red moons falling on Jewish religious holidays, Israel on May 14, 1948 became a homeland to the Israelites and an official country. God began calling Jews from all over the world to return to their God-given covenant land as previously prophesied.

The next time this lunar eclipse phenomenon occurred was in 1967. Israel was attacked by Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon and they repelled their enemies. The war lasted six days and Israel captured Sinai, Golan Heights, Gaza Strip and the West Bank. They were able to unify control over Jerusalem their covenant land. The Soviet Union supplied most of their enemies’ military equipment and economic assistance. President Lyndon Johnson rallied to assist Israel. During this war there were a number of supernatural events that happened and the Jews believed it was because God was on their side.

Some believe this next 18 months when we again have four blood moons when the lunar eclipses fall on Jewish holidays some major event will occur. It will be 100 years before we have another time when they fall on Jewish holidays. Since Christ’s birth there have been seven times these red blood eclipse have happened.

There have been other times in history when this has happened to fulfill Bible prophecy. If you remember when Jesus was born Herod wanted to know where Jesus was living. Yet, wise men from foreign countries were able to find Him by following a star. Herod told the wise men to direct him to where Jesus was. However, they returned a different way than they had come to avoid Herod.

Jesus’ father, Joseph had a dream telling him to take Jesus and his family to Egypt. Unbeknownst to Herod, he had every male child; two years old and younger murdered trying to kill Jesus Christ. It was only after Herod’s death that the family returned to Israel.

My belief is that what happens in the next 18 months is prophesied in the Bible. However, we will not know what that will be until after it happens. Throughout the years God has made His self known to the Israelites. They continued to deny His existence and worshiped hand-made idols. Their continual disobedience to His will and His Commandments made God angry and He often punished them. From AD 70 to 1948 they were spread throughout the world with no homeland available. For those who knew their Bible realized that there would be a day when God would bring them back to the land He promised as their inheritance. So we wait with anticipation hoping that the coming event will be a positive and not a negative.

Joel 2:30 – 31 – “I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”

Acts 2:20 – “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.”
Matthew 16:2 – 4 – “ He (Christ) replied, “You know the saying, ‘Red sky at night means fair weather tomorrow; red sky in the morning means foul weather all day.’ You know how to interpret the weather signs in the sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the signs of the times!”
Genesis 1:14 – “Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years.”

Satan and millions of fallen angels, (demons) were forced out of heaven onto earth. Satan’s plan, according to Scripture, is to attack and destroy America, Israel and the church.

Revelation 12:7 – 9 – “Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.”

We are told that Satan’s final plan is to attack and deceive our minds, pervert our morals and demoralize our armed forces. We must realize Satan’s army is out to destroy Christianity and the church as well as America and Israel. Are we not witnessing Satan’s plan of attack today?

A false prophet will arise to take over the church and establish a one-world religion of rules and regulations and discontinue our belief of saved by grace. Christians may believe things they never believed before as a result of seeing impossible things occur that the Bible predicts will happen by the false prophet.

In the 8th chapter of Daniel we are told the Antichrist, who is completely wicked, will arise and become very strong, but not in his own strength, and he will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy the mighty men and the holy people. He will cause deceit to prosper.

If we are in the end times as the Bible and Christ predicts in Matthew, the 24th chapter and we see climate change, famine and earth quakes do you suppose that Satan would want the world to know it is close to the end-times? God tells us if we will repent of our ways accept Christ as our Savior He will forgive us and give us peace and prosperity. Satan does not want us to repent and submit to God, he wants the world submitting to him. He must deceive the world and if he can convince us that it is man destroying the planet by using carbon fuels to cause climate change and Fracking for natural gas and oil that is causing earthquakes, then it is man’s causing and the world is not about to end.

Revelations 13:5 – 8 – “Then the beast was allowed to speak great blasphemies against God. And he was given authority to do whatever he wanted for forty-two months. And he spoke terrible words of blasphemy against God, slandering his name and his dwelling—that is, those who dwell in heaven. And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation. And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life before the world was made—the Book that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered.”

No matter how corrupt or how much he lies and deceives nor how much he attacks America, Israel and the church there will be a huge number of followers believing everything he says. He can do no wrong because of his charismatic personality and ability as an orator. He will perform miracles with supernatural powers.

There will come a time when people panic! People lose all hope and can find no place to hide from the Antichrist’s government and supernatural calamities. Lawlessness will be evident in every country on earth. Those who thought they were safe could find no place to hide. It will be amazing that after a number of cataclysmic events there will be a number of people who still will not fear God. Like the Egyptians in Moses times they will have hearts as hard as shoe leather and not penetrable by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:35 – “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?”

I believe any Christian totally committed to Christ and has the power of the Holy Spirit within themselves will receive a courage they have never witnessed before. Our love for God and Christ will remove all fear. No matter how bad the circumstance might be, we will have the same confidence and courage that the apostle Paul and the other apostles had after receiving the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. God promises that no one can ever separate us from Him. I accept and believe that promise and we will face whatever happens, totally dependent upon God and accept any challenge the antichrist or his demons can throw at us.

The signs of a one-world government and religion are coming. We must be prepared! Many of us are old enough that we may be long gone prior to this prophecy being fulfilled. Hopefully, the church will be raptured prior to the worst occurring.

Some believe when the church is raptured, a radical ideology or theology will change the world when all restraints are removed and fanatical teachers spread their beliefs. A worldwide anti-God movement will exist. This will include the continual teachings of evolution, situation ethics (no absolute rules), moral freedom and self-sufficiency (man is not accountable to anyone), sexual permissiveness (everything is acceptable), and death education (there is no life after death). How much of this will be emphasized as a result of the Internet? For everything positive that the Internet provides there is a ton of potential for evil. But how else was Satan to deceive the world without having the availability of the Internet, TVs and movies to spout his deception and evilness? How long would the world have lasted if all of these technology inventions occurred 1800 years ago? Are they truly the blessing that most of us believe they were meant to be?

If you have not truly studied your Bible, you may believe the above is not possible. I encourage you to become aware of what is going to take place in the near future while many of us are still alive and is prophesized in the Bible. Christ promised signs of the end so Christians could be prepared. ARE WE?

Do you believe living a happy life is a matter of luck or a blessing from God? Living a happy life is a result of how we live. Life can be a struggle but becoming spiritually mature helps. Christians can have an advantage in life if they pursue becoming more spiritual. Spiritual maturity is explained in a number of Scriptures. The author of Hebrews wrote, “Let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity (6:1). This makes a clear distinction between a person who has accepted Christ (at the starting gate) and a Christian who is on the road to maturity. Paul writes in Philippians 1:9–10 “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.”

Paul goes on to describe maturity as a progression that reaches toward eternity rather than settling into retirement on a plateau. Of course, maturity is subjective. It means different things to different people. One definition is growing toward a goal instead of actually reaching it. Another is that maturity is a process similar to sanctification. Maturity encompasses many stages of growth in a Christian’s life, but for all practical purposes, the person who has left the elementary teachings about Christ and is growing falls within the range of maturity. It isn’t uncommon for men and women who have been Christians for years, to find themselves frozen in place. They have made a solid beginning by accepting Christ, but they stop there. They are not running, walking or even crawling. They are the embodiment of the Christians Paul criticized in his letter to the Corinthians: “Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly—mere infants in Christ”. (I Cor. 3:1) Scripture make a powerful case for Christians to become spiritually mature. It is unnatural to stand still and be addressed as infants in Christ.

However, the older we become some of us realize that our time on earth is limited. For example in 1984 I had a major heart attack and bypass surgery. In 1997 I was told I had prostate cancer and needed radiation treatments. In 2005 I had a massive heart attack and my family was told I had about a ten percent chance of making it through another bypass surgery.

Problems often get our attention as to how we are living. Prior to these events reading the Bible, being a serious prayer and worshiping God did not get the attention it should have. It just seemed there was never enough time to do everything. Since 1984 I have had a very regimented schedule that allows time for each of the above plus an exercise program daily. I continued to work up to 50 hour weeks but other things changed. My goal was to read the Bible from beginning to end each year.

April 2009 I approached a publisher to see if they would publish a book I had helped write. I was told I needed to write Christians blogs. They set me up with a company and assisted in helping write the first few and then I was on my own. Twice each week a blog is written and submitted. Thousands have read these blogs from over 100 countries.

Every day I thank God for what He has done in my life and the blessings He has provided. Blogging has increased my time in the Bible and prayer time. During these five years, God has met all of our needs. As I do research, read God’s promises and become more aware of Biblical prophecies, it has allowed me to grow more spiritually. Blogging has taught me to listen to the Holy Spirit. There are times I actually feel the blogs were Holy Spirit inspired and it did not come from my talent in writing. I often feel led to write concerning Bible prophecies and the end times. When I do, an average of 250 or more, in a week, will read them. For example, I wrote a blog on ObamaCare and 5,708 people have read it to date. Other topics may not get even 50 readers. Of course, it also depends on where Goggle and others place my blog.

What I have learned is from time to time it is important to check our spiritual maturity. You may believe that a Christian who experiences no serious difficulties in their lives is generally spiritually mature and able to deal with life. Or the opposite could be true, you may face numerous difficulties and set back and still be mature spiritually. Those who do nothing never fail. Satan doesn’t expend any effort at holding these people back—they hold themselves back. Those who desire to grow step out and do something are the people that Satan goes after.

Christians must realize that peace and satisfaction comes from accepting Christ and learning to live by the teachings of the Bible. Becoming a mature Christian is when we realize the love God has for us and we find that same unconditional love toward others. One thing I found was a willingness to share with others. The greatest thing we can all share is the gospel. What would most people give to have a life that is full, prosperous to the point that their needs are met and no matter what happens there is always peace and happiness in their lives? So how is that obtained?

Many Christians have never learned the rules or put into practice what the Bible teaches. You may have attended church all of your life but even if you know some of the rules you have never really put them into practice. You may wonder why you are not prosperous or why isn’t there peace in your life? If you know the rules and put them into practice you realize there are a lot of things you really do not need. As a good steward you would always earn more money than you spend. How much money do you need to feel prosperous? Could it depend on how much you trust God to meet your needs?

If you have a purpose in life and know the direction you are going, you feel loved and accepted by God, you sense that people realize that you are an achiever; that can make your life full, satisfied and peaceful. Allow God to fill that void that we often feel and understand it doesn’t take the things of the world to make a person feel complete.

God wants every one of us to live by His rules and Commandments because they are able to provide what is missing in every non-believer’s heart. He also knows that if we reach a spiritual understanding and spread it to others everywhere, it will make life as He has always wanted for everyone He has created and with it comes a peaceful and a happy life.

God wants control of His creation and has provided His will for each. With God’s control and our obedience, He has provided many promises: such as peace, prosperity and eternal life. Man wants to deny God and take control over man and tell us how the world is to live. We have a choice to be controlled spiritually with individual freedom or accept government and lose our freedom. Who is your savior: Christ or government? It seems, as a whole, the world has denied God to accept government as their provider and protector. As a result:

You probably will not hear about how close we are to the end times from your minister. It is not politically correct and they do not want to be considered a “kook or fanatical”. Who knows when the end-time is coming because it has been predicted for over 2000 years?

The signs that are recorded in Holy Scripture found in Jeremiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Matthew Chapter 24, II Thessalonians Chapter 2, Revelations and other prophecy warn us to be aware of the signs when the end is near. Read Ezekiel 38:1 – 3 – “The word of the Lord came to me: ‘Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal.’” If you study prophecy, many believe the chief prince is Vladimir Putin of Russia. A huge sign!

Daniel 12:9 – 13 – He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand. ‘From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days. As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.’” The Bible indicates very few are willing to understand prophecy and most will deny it. Daily sacrifices will be abolished when the Temple is built by the Antichrist.

Matthew 24:21 – “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.” Christ confirms the teaching of the prophet Daniel in this chapter as He refers to the abomination that causes desolation. (Matthew 24:15)

II Thessalonians 2:8 – 12 – “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”

Christians, recognize that those who are not saved will believe the Antichrist because of God’s powerful delusion. We must do everything to help people understand; there could be a time when it is not possible to accept Christ as one’s Savior. Remember the hard-hearted evil pharaoh who God used during Moses’ time who wouldn’t believe?

The one to be revealed, we believe, will come from one of the final ten nations of the European Union, the old Holy Roman Empire. He will be the Antichrist, the one who promises to bring peace to the world. Once that person is revealed it is the beginning of the end.

There is still time left now. We know that Israel and Palestine will reach a peace agreement. This will allow the Israelites to build their Temple on the Temple Mount, next to the Muslin Dome of the Rock.

Scripture says only God will protect Israel in the end-times. The U.S. will have no part in the end times that we can find in the Bible. As we keep spending and borrowing it is very possible that we could not financially help anyone within the next few years. If the dollar is no longer the world’s currency it could create financial havoc for the U.S. When the British pound sterling was the world currency for 200 years until 1970 and once it was no longer the world’s standard the United Kingdom had an inflation rate of over 25%.

Many nations are no longer trading in American dollars and some believe it is just a matter of time until the dollar is no longer the standard which is used by all nations for buying and selling. With our tremendous federal deficit and our printing of an unlimited amounts of money, some believe we could reach a financial crisis similar to what happened to England in the 1970s when the pound sterling ceased to be the standard. It is possible this is why America has to lose its superpower status in the end-times and be unable to become the peacemaker it has been. It is in God’s plan from the beginning of time. Let’s be careful who we blame.

The reason the world has existed this long is because America was a Christian nation and worshipped God. Once we started taking God out of our daily lives and rejecting His commandments and when material things became America’s god, it was just a matter of time until judgment comes. Read the Old Testament and see what the consequences of the Israelites disobeying God.

Ezekiel 14:13 & 14 – “Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its people and their animals, even if these three men—Noah, Daniel and Job—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

One time there was a flood because people became so corrupt and anti-God. Is there much difference today?

What Christians have to look forward to in the next new earth and heaven is indescribable. What God has planned for us is a mansion in another Garden of Eden and with the lastest technology. This time we will never die and will enjoy every day. Every need we could ever hope for will be met. Is there someone you want to be there with you? Are they saved? PRAY!

How many have such guilt in their lives that they end up depressed, fearful, living constantly with anxiety? There is little joy or peace in their lives. In fact, the result of past mistakes in many people may cause serious health problems. Having sinned or made a major mistake can cause an individual to become so scarred that their previous behavior and the resulting guilt seems to never be forgotten. There may be a time when they have reached bottom and feel there is no hope.

To once again have peace in your life you must believe that God’s grace will forgive you. You can control the quality of life you want to live. Or, you can let your problems control you. You are totally responsible for your reaction regardless what occurs in your life. You can be the victor or the victim. God tells many, many times that He wants what is best for us and that is a rich and satisfying life. So allow the Holy Spirit to make it happen. Christ wants you to be free and at peace.

The more I have read and studied the Bible the more optimistic I have become. Some will tell me it could be because of my temperament that I am positive. Because there are some who are perfectionists that never seem to be positive. Nothing ever seems to be perfect enough for them. Many see the future as being rosy and others see it as being doom and gloom. Let me address the following to those who feel things are just not going well. You don’t sense peace and satisfaction in your life. Life just doesn’t seem to have purpose and direction for you. There are just too many things that are not right in your life and everything seems to be routine and boring. You may have few goals or dreams. You may feel lonely or rejected. Nothing really seems to be satisfying. At least you are not living that full, prosperous and peaceful life. What is causing these negative feelings?

Most normal people have to deal with guilt in their lives. Guilt is an emotion and can be one of the most damaging emotions we can have. The greater our guilt the more harmful it can be to our health, relationships with others and our daily performance. Guilt can impair any positive thoughts and develop in one’s self, a very low self-esteem. How could I have done certain things?

Guilt does not necessarily result from something bad we have done, but it can. It may be from failing to meet expectations we or others have placed on us. It may be a result of a poor family relationship or a misunderstanding in which we blame ourselves. Blaming ourselves takes on guilt. Guilt, not controlled, can develop into the belief that we do not deserve the better things in life and that may result in establishing a low self-esteem into the future.

Here are some rules that should help overcome guilt:

YOU MUST FEEL GOD HAS FORGIVEN YOU. The Holy Spirit and Scripture teach us that God loves us, will guide us and give us a new mind-set that allows us to deal with guilt and low self-esteem. As a believer and child of God who realize we were created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness, we should develop a positive pride, confidence in ourselves and a great self-image. It may not be easy to accept this concept because Satan uses guilt to stifle us from reaching our full-potential. Therefore, we must be careful to whom we listen. If you keep thinking you cannot be changed to what God meant you to be, you are listening to the wrong voice. Much of it boils down to how much faith do you have? Do you believe God created you or anyone else to be a failure rather than to be successful and prosper? But that is not the devil’s plan. It is to deceive us, degrade us, distress us and destroy us. He would like nothing better than to defeat you through guilt and past sins. You have a choice as to who you listen and who you want to be.

WE MUST FORGIVE OURSELVES. God knows how important it is to overcome guilt in a person’s life. God, through Jesus Christ, made it possible that all past sins and guilt can be forgiven. Any person who accepts Christ as their Savior and accepts the promises of God can become a new person as Scripture states. One, speaking from experience, a person can become a new person and the old can be erased. It may not happen overnight but it occurs as soon as a person understands that God’s Spirit comes to live within them and through a process, continually changes them if they will allow Him to do so. We must recognize that God put His Spirit into our lives so that we might deal with guilt. Once we understand God’s purpose in giving us His Spirit we then can release our guilt for the Holy Spirit to help us deal with it.

We must stop continually beating ourselves up over past mistakes. God does not want that and He sent His Son to tell us that. We must trust that God loves us as we are. He gives us His Spirit so we can love ourselves and when we do that, we feel forgiven and peace overcomes all guilt.

If I were to write a Christian mystery concerning a missing Boeing 777, this is how I would start:

Many people have claimed to have sold their souls to the devil. Even Jesus was tempted to sell His soul to the devil. Matthew 4:8 – “Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. ‘All this I will give you,’ he said, ‘if you will bow down and worship me.’ Of course, Jesus refused but how many people would have accepted? We do not know how Satan appeared to Jesus, was he a man or a spirit? Let us assume in the book he was a spirit-type man that could be recognized as the devil.

The world has hundreds of thousands worshiping the devil and the Washington, D. C. area is said to be one of the greatest accumulations of devil worshippers in the U.S. We read of numerous movie stars, musicians and others admitting to selling their souls for fame, power or prosperity. In fact, we have world leaders who do evil things for power and prosperity.
The book, about a missing Boeing 777, would start with the devil having a plan to send an airplane loaded with nuclear bombs to blow up and destroy Tel Aviv, Israel. The devil has been working with a few world leaders developing a plan with those who were willing to destroy Israel.

The devil’s proposal needs two foreign pilots who are willing to sell their souls for future promises in heaven. As an illustration, some Muslim suicide bombers believe they will receive 72 virgins in heaven if they murder Jewish citizens of Israel. To destroy a whole Jewish city just think what the devil’s reward’s being offered may be. The pilots in my book are not Muslims, just opportunists wanting what the devil is offering.

Two foreign pilots, flying for a small foreign airline, have been recruited to fly a Boeing 777, full of passengers, toward a foreign airport where nuclear bombs were being stored. They disconnected all of their communication systems so they cannot be located. They then fly to a particular airport having prearranged to pick up all explosives needed and then prepare them for the next flight to Israel. They unload the passengers and place them in a large warehouse as hostages to be used to trade for prisoners and ransom. Personnel were ready to paint the plane and to disguise it as one of British’s largest airliners. It was then loaded with nuclear armament. This airport was north of Syria and the one previous arrangements had been made to provide all provisions that were needed. Having adequate armament and supplies, they fly toward Tel Aviv with plans to make a suicide crash that they hoped would destroy the entire city.

While all of this is taking place Israeli intelligence surveillance realize what their plans are. They have been able to identify the plane and where it has landed. If they make the world aware of what is about to take place, they believe the plane would not take off on their mission and they could not prove their intent. So they wait with fighter planes ready to take off and then plan to demand that the disguised plane land in Jordan so it can be searched and their plan foiled. The plane takes off at night and the fighters fly to intercept it. As they approach the 777, they demand that it land as directed and where they specify or they will shoot it down. The plane refuses to land and continues on its way toward Tel Aviv. The fighter pilots are given permission to shoot it down. They are over Syria when they shoot it down and Biblical prophecy is fulfilled as follows:

Isaiah 17:1 – “A prophecy against Damascus: ‘See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.’” NIV

This really upsets Russia. It gives them one more reason with Iran and other nations to eventually attack Israel as prophesied in Ezekiel 38:3 – 6 – “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.”

We know Russia is concerned about the amount of natural gas and oil that Israel has located. It is possible that Israel could compete against Russia and bring the price of these commodities to such a low price to European nations that it could financially bankrupt Russia. Approximately 70% of Russia’s income is a result of exporting gas, oil and related products. Even though America could do the same, America has chosen not to bring the prices down but to keep prices high. There are just too many in our administration that are convinced that these resources cause global climate change. They will never be convinced that God is in charge and controls what happens in His universe.

Who would have thought that this is how the prophecy of Damascus’ destruction would take place.

God will continue to provide signs letting nonbelievers realize there is a God and their only hope is to accept Christ as their Savior if they want to have eternal life after death.

Revelation 13:2b – 4 – “And the dragon gave the beast his own power and throne and great authority. I saw that one of the heads of the beast seemed wounded beyond recovery—but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast. They worshiped the dragon for giving the beast such power, and they also worshiped the beast. “Who is as great as the beast?” they exclaimed. “Who is able to fight against him?” NLT

1st John 2:18 states that in the last days the “antichrist” will come. Many theologians believe the beast, in the above verse, is the antichrist who is the false messiah. The dragon is believed to be Satan. People will accept the antichrist because of his many miracles and his unlimited power. He will fake a false resurrection having been pronounced dead (fatal wound) and then comes back to life. The world will be united under his rule. He will control the world’s economy. God will allow the antichrist to have authority over the world for only a brief period. Everyone will be required to worship him.

Revelation 13:7 & 8 – “And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation. And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life before the world was made—the Book that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered.” NLT

If you believe Scripture, the above verses tell us there will be a one-world government. It could not be any clearer. He will dominate over the world and there will be a one-world religion because all of the non-Christian people will worship him. Presently there are four main religions: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism. Which do you think the one-world religion might be? Who is teaching world domination besides the Radical Muslim Brotherhood? Besides verse 7 tells us the antichrist will wage war against God’s holy people and conquer them.

Revelation 13:11 – 17 – “Then I saw another beast come up out of the earth. He had two horns like those of a lamb, but he spoke with the voice of a dragon. He exercised all the authority of the first beast. And he required all the earth and its people to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. He did astounding miracles, even making fire flash down to earth from the sky while everyone was watching. And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast, who was fatally wounded and then came back to life. He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die. He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name.” NLT

II Thessalonians 2:4 – 5 – Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction. He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.” NLT
Scripture tells us we will have the antichrist and we have the false prophet. The false prophet is the organizer and the religion is centered on the antichrist. The antichrist gives him total authority. The real purpose is to worship Satan through the antichrist. The religion will be acceptable to everyone whose name is not in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Lucifer was thrown out of heaven with 1/3 of the angels because they wanted to be gods. He will think he has succeeded when he sits in the Temple claiming to be god.

The antichrist will be extremely charismatic. His miracles will be so astonishing that he will make fire come down from heaven just as Elijah did in I Kings 18. The false prophets with his miraculous powers will be able to deceive people and shape world opinion into accepting the antichrist and himself. How many Christians will be deceived and worship the beast instead of accepting death?
Romans 8:35 – “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?”

I believe any Christian totally committed to Christ and has the power of the Holy Spirit within themselves will receive a courage they have never witnessed before. Our love for God and Christ will remove all fear. No matter how bad the circumstance might be, we will have the same confidence and courage that the apostle Paul and the other apostles had after receiving the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. God promises that no one can ever separate us from Him. I accept and believe that promise and we will face whatever happens, totally dependent upon God and accept any challenge the antichrist or his demons can throw at us. The signs of a one-world government and religion are coming. We must be prepared! Many of us are old enough that we will be long gone prior to this prophecy being fulfilled. This blog is for younger people who need to be aware of what’s coming.

Which do you think the one-world religion might be? Who is teaching world domination besides the Radical Muslim Brotherhood? Besides verse 7 tells us the antichrist will wage war against God’s holy people and conquer them. From which religion are Radicals promoting the killing of Christians? Christ tells us we will know when we are in the end times. We will be able to see the signs. There will still be Christians on earth because they will be conquered. It is still possible to believer in the “rapture” taking place prior to pre-tribulation.

Some believe when the church is raptured, a radical ideology or theology will change the world when all restraints are removed and fanatical teachers spread their beliefs. A worldwide anti-God movement will exist. This will include the continual teachings of evolution, situation ethics (no absolute rules), moral freedom and self-sufficiency (man is not accountable to anyone), sexual permissiveness (everything is acceptable), and death education (there is no life after death). How much of this will be emphasized as a result of the Internet? For everything positive that the Internet provides there is a ton of potential for evil. But how else was Satan to deceive the world without having the availability of the Internet, TVs and movies to spout his deception and evilness? How long would the world have lasted if all of these inventions occurred 1800 years ago? Are they truly the blessing that most of us believe they were meant to be? What are your thoughts? What will pull Russia to lead a group of nations to attack Israel? Ezekiel’s prophecy found in 38:3 – 6 stating: “I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army.” You may wonder: What would God use to pull them to attack Israel?

Large reservoirs of natural gas and oil have been discovered, both in Israel and off the Mediterranean coast. In fact, they are discovering more and more almost yearly. It is estimated that they have located 6.7 trillion c.f. of natural gas and 1.4 billion barrels of oil. The discovery in the Eastern Mediterranean is estimated to be the largest find in the world. This discovery makes Israel’s energy available for years and also allows them to export gas to European nations which would make them competing against Russia’s gas and oil exports. Russia could never become a superpower if it could not sell its gas and oil. Up to 70% of their income comes from gas, oil and related products. You reduce a huge portion of their exports and they could go into bankruptcy.

I have shared that we are getting close to a peace agreement between Israel and Palestine. We are told that is to happen by May 2014. Three and one-half years into that agreement is what we believe Christ told us would happen in Matthew 24:10 – 14 – “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” Verses 24:17 – 18 – “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.”

We are told that Christians will be hated by non-Christians, wickedness will increase and false prophets will deceive many. Jews living in Judea or the West Bank, about 365,000 will be killed if they do not flee. Can we not see what is happening in the world today? I have no proof when the Tribulation time will occur. However, the signs say that it is possible to happen shortly. I am concerned about those who are non-believers and unchurched. We know that the Gospel will have been preached to the entire world before the end. That has happened. There will be one last chance. The Bible says we will be able to know that God stopped the onslaught. If people realize there really is a God will they not accept Christ as their Savior? Will they realize what God has planned for those who are the elect?

Isaiah 65:17 – 25 – ““See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more. Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed. They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands. They will not labor in vain, nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them. Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,” says the Lord.”

Christ wants us to get the “good news” to everyone. We can only imagine what eternity with God and Christians will be like. There is nothing on this earth that is comparable. Yet, there are people who are evil and hearts that will never change.

Every day we have those who continually try to deceive us into thinking it is all about ourselves. No matter how much fame, power or wealth we can accumulate while on earth, what God has planned for believers in Christ for the future is far greater than what we can ever gain in this world. The big question is: How do you get people to accept God’s promises?

Russia and China are building superpower armies and the United States is decreasing its military. If you want to know what happens next, read Biblical prophecy.

Read Ezekiel 39:1 – “Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal.” Instead of chief prince of Meshek use the name Vladimir Putin. In 2008 Russia invaded Georgia and nothing was done to stop them. They are still, somewhat at war as Georgia has requested to become a part of Western Europe and NATO. Now Russians have invaded Crimea and no one will stop them again. Next it will be the Ukraine. Scripture goes on and tells what happens until the end time.

American intelligent sources state that Putin has ordered a 40% increase in Russia’s defense budget, including new fighter aircraft, new rockets and two new army divisions. Iranian’s former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stated that he believes the end of the world is only a few years away. He also said that he believes the way to hasten the arrival of the Islamic messiah is to unleash an apocalyptic holy war against Christians and Jews. Iran has vowed to annihilate the U.S. and Israel and is preparing their military to accomplish just that.

Based on information from Ezekiel, Russia’s influence will continue to increase among the Islamic world as the war against Israel nears. Putin has been co-operating and supporting almost every middle-eastern Islamic nation to the detriment of the United Nations and the U.S’s resolve to boycott Iran and force the closing of its nuclear facilities. Despite international efforts to isolate Palestine’s Hamas party Putin is supporting them. Putin has aggressively and systematically built alliances with the countries cited in Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39. We believe Ezekiel’s vision is coming into fulfillment this very moment.

This will not be the first time Russia has tried to attack Israel. They were on the brink of war in 1973 when the U. S. mobilized forces to counteract any attack the Russians planned on Israel. It is well known that the Soviet Union has supplied all of the ammunition, intelligence and military training to help the Arab and Islamic coalition destroy Israel. It happened once before in the 1967 war. Under President Lyndon Johnson we kept Russia from launching forces against Israel.

Ezekiel 38:3 – 6 – “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.” (Persia is Iran. We believe Cush to be Ethiopia, Put may be Libya, Gomer could be either Turkey or Germany but it is believed to be Turkey. Beth Togarmah could be countries under the old USSR.)

As we look at what transpires during the War of Gog and Magog and how the nations of the world will be affected. Ezekiel 38:9 – “You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.” Based on information from Ezekiel, Russia’s influence will continue to increase among the Islamic world as the war against Israel nears. Putin has been developing ties with the nations mentioned in Ezekiel.

Ezekiel clearly indicates that God himself will go to war on behalf of Israel and against her enemies, with devastating results as we read in Ezekiel 38:18 – 23 – “This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign LORD. In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”

The war of Gog and Magog will bring about a shattering of radical Islam that will trigger a spiritual crisis for Muslims around the world. As they see the hand of God defending Israel their faith will be shaken. Muslims will hear Christians explaining what happened and why.

How will this affect Las Vegas? Think of the response the churches will encounter. Will we have adequate facilities to handle the many seekers? Will the churches be prepared to help those seeking to repent and learn the teachings of Christ? It is a time to begin preparation and some have already started.

Acts 2:17 & 18 – “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”

Another point in world affairs: It was President Nixon that opened up trade to China. It was American companies, buying from China that has given China the ability to become a world power and allow a huge military buildup. China’s army will become a part in the War of Armageddon. Americans buying oil from nations supporting terrorism has provided the money that can cause a potential security crisis from radical Islamists. America’s prosperity has provided the capital for terrorism and World War III. Who would have thought?

For years I have heard Christians criticize mega churches for being too liberal and not preaching the Bible as God intended. I go so long and then feel the need to again defend large churches.

As a small traditional church, our church board decided that every Tuesday morning at 6:30 a.m. we would meet and pray for God’s vision for Central. We did this for three straight years, 1986, 1987 and 1988. We also had an all church prayer time. Someone would meet at the church and pray for an hour until someone else would take over and this was done around the clock. We were always seeking what God wanted our mission to be. To this day, I feel assured this dedication to prayer and our church’s vision was one of the most important things we have ever done at Central. From these different prayer meetings, the board unanimously believed our vision was that our church should change from being a traditional church, largely made up of traditional Christians who voiced a concern for lost people but their concern seldom translated into action, to becoming more evangelistic. With a few exceptions, it appeared the church had lost their passion for reaching lost people and lost people stayed away. Was there another city that had more lost people than Las Vegas? Were we being called to reach them?

Two of those years I was the chairman of the board. I am well aware of the board’s concern for receiving from God what He wanted our church to be and do. For those who are critical of churches with a different vision for ministry than theirs, may have never gotten up early once a week for three years meeting at the church and spending time praying and asking God for a vision for our specific church. In addition, we had a group of lay people who gathered and were also praying during this time and they continue to this day.

Some criticizing, thinking all that church leaders were concerned about were numbers. When you realize that approximately 50,000 lost souls have accepted Christ as their savior at Central, numbers are important. When you understand that we also have approximately 750 meeting weekly in recovery groups being freed from addictions and sinful living, you must consider that maybe God is involved and we are following the vision He has given us. For those who disagree with our belief that it is okay for sinners to not be okay and that they are welcome into our fellowship, they feel comfortable that they will be accepted. Many churches do not make non-believers feel welcome. Our family has been members of twelve different churches due to our many job transfers. My father-in-law and two cousins were ministers of a number of churches.

For those of us living in Las Vegas, we see many people who live life with little hope. Is Christ interested in reaching any of these people? We have lived here since 1974 and most churches were making little effort to reach these lost people. What we were consistently reminded of; was Christ’s commission to preach the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15 – “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”) As a small traditional church we were attracting very few seeking salvation. What would be required to reach these lost people? As a board, the consensus was we had to change our services to make it comfortable for unchurched people to attend and then come back again and again.

It was determined that we had to change our music. It was proposed by the music team that we needed to go from a piano and organ to a small band with a faster pace. When we added drums, some old timers believed the devil had taken over the church. Many unchurched people started coming and older members started leaving going to more traditional churches. Those Christians leaving were going to other traditional churches while we were seeing new people converted and growing spiritual. Many of those who were unchurched and became converted said it was the music that kept them coming back. There were some things we had to learn to overcome in order for the Holy Spirit to change the lives of so many people over the years.

The hardest thing for most of us to overcome is our self-centeredness. If the service is not what we are use to, then it is not spiritual and Biblical. The two greatest commands are to love God with all of our strength and others as ourselves. It is this love for others that must take precedence over what we want. However, we believe that God also wants those Christians who struggle with a mega church concept to help others churches grow and become stronger. Where mega churches are located you will find many small churches have become more spiritual and meet their needs. We are created with a competitive spirit and that spirit can make us all more spiritual. I have learned that God uses adversity to move people into different jobs and different churches. Every time problems arise, people leave. Other churches benefit and some new churches are started. All seem to fit into God’s plan.

Romans 8:28 – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

This is a verse that many may find difficult to understand. Bad things can happen to anyone. Why should we think that only good things happen to Christians? God not only works to make us happy but sometimes allows negative things to make us better people with a purpose to serve Him and others better. I have seen God often take a bad circumstance and turn it into a long-term good or useful purpose. As Christians we must learn to accept, not resent, pain and persecution because God is with it and has a purpose for it. When bad things happen we are to trust in God with a new perspective and a new attitude that will help us through our dilemmas and stress. God’s purpose for us is never an afterthought; it was planned prior to our birth. I have learned that every time I encounter a negative experience is to ask God: What am I to learn from it? Each time the negative experience has been of help later on.

Matthew 9:10 – 13 – “Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
